Exactly a year ago, Kendrick Lamar spit a chilling freestyle at U-N-I’s “A Love Supreme 2.0″ release party at Bubble Gum LA. The whole crowd, including J. Cole, Thurzday, Jay Rock, Y-O and more, was quietly listening. I believe it might have been the first time J. Cole met Kendrick and the rest is history.
