Jay-Z along with U2 were both recipients of Sports Emmy Awards for Outstanding Music Composition/ Direction/ Lyrics. Hov won the award for his rendition of  “Run This Town” before this year’s Superbowl. Meanwhile Bono’s band took one home for their work with on this year’s World Cup.
