This past weekend, I served as a judge at the <i>I Am Music</i> DC Fest Audition (along with Byrd from IGotIt4Free & IAmRRA from Dmv Culture. After the jump, check out some of the artists that I thought were dope during the event. I think you should definitely be checking out for them in the near future.
I AM MUSIC is a music festival designed to showcase innovative and creative individuals with musical talents and provide them with a platform to not only display their talents to a potential fan base but also individuals who work in the industry so that they can receive important information that will increase the probability of them having a successful career. I AM MUSIC commits to doing this through live performances (including beat battles), informative panels, and donating portions of the proceeds to DC Grammy Board.
I AM MUSIC is a significant step in the cultivation of the DC Metropolitan Area from an emerging music scene to a vibrant one.
