After working under designers such as Rachel Roy, Rosa Cha and Esteban Cortazar; she stepped out on her own and created Mdurvwa Collection. This collection is a must for the fashionista who loves statement pieces in their wardrobe. Inspired by Deborah’s Nigerian background her collection is a mix of afro centric undertones fused with contemporary styles. The line mixes leather detailing, chain links, studs on necklaces, hoops and body chains.Celebrities like Mya(@MISSMYA), reality star Erica Mena(@Erica_Mena) and WPGC radio personality Sunni(@SunniAndTheCity) are fans of the collection. Sunni is the current model on her website showcasing the latest Mdurwa Collection. Some of my favorite pieces in the collection are the color block leather-wrapped hoops, chain-link body chain, leather-fringed hoops and leather studded bib necklace.
