Example has revealed he is keen to write a track for One Direction in the future, and says he has no preference who ends up singing the songs he writes for other artists.

The ‘Changed The Way You Kissed Me’ rapper says he would be keen to pen a song for the ‘One Thing’ five-piece, possibly for their upcoming second studio album, as well as admitted he would love to write for pop superstar Enrique Iglesias.

“I always go in [the studio] with a song title and a concept, then after the song’s done I’ll go, ‘Yeah, that sounds like The Wanted’, or ‘Why don’t we pitch that to Kylie?’ or ‘Why don’t we pitch that to Enrique Iglesias’?” Example revealed exclusively to Capital FM this week. “I’d like to get a song on Enrique’s album.

“I’d like to write a song for One Direction,” the ‘Stay Awake’ rapper also explained. “I’m not really adverse to who sings my songs.”
