I just laughed out loud…from GRM Daily:

Fifty Shades of Grey has become the UK’s bestselling novel to date. Publishers say that the book has sold 5.3 million; outselling JK Rowling’s Harry Potter series and Dan Brown’s The Da Vinci Code.

To top the success, Fifty Shades now has a Classical soundtrack which includes pieces from Bach, Vaughn Williams and Chopin. The album complements the recent rise in classical music sales, and also includes the pieces that EL James has referred to in the Fifty Shades Trilogy.

James said: “I am thrilled that the classical pieces that inspired me while I wrote the Fifty Shades trilogy are being brought together in one collection for all lovers of the books to enjoy.”

The album will be digitally released on 21st August, then taking a physical release buy 8th September with a movie also in the pipelines.
