Explorer’s Collective (@DeExplorer) Feat. Dray (@DrayOfficial) – Glass Ceilings

Explorer’s Collective combine with up and coming UK rapper Dray for this genre-stretching slice of UK pop.

Dray’s perfectly crisp and deceptively benign flow contrasts with, yet wraps nicely around, the Totalitarian chorus chant of ‘Work til you’re 85, shop til you drop dead’, capturing the essence of the credit-crunched UK Summer of austerity!

Glastonbury Festival 2013 Ticket Information Revealed (@GlastoFest)

Information has been officially released on Glastonbury’s website. Check it out below:

At 9am on Sunday, 7th October, tickets will go on sale at £205 (including £5 booking fee per ticket & £6 P&P per order). Entrance for children aged 12 and under remains free.

The ticket price covers entry to the Festival site from Wednesday 26th June until Monday 1st July 2013 and, as ever, includes a free programme. Once again, the Festival will be raising funds for Oxfam, Wateraid, Greenpeace and a host of local charities and causes (in 2011, more than £2m was raised).

As in 2011, you will be able to book a ticket by paying a £50 deposit per person, either online at glastonbury.seetickets.com, from 0844 412 4635 or, for international callers, from +44 1159 934 183. Up to 8 tickets can be bought at once, but there is only one ticket per registration (so if you’re planning to book for a group, please make sure everyone is registered).

Registration remains free of charge. If you’re not already registered, then head over to www.glastonburyregistration.co.uk now to fill in your details and upload your picture (it only takes a few minutes). Please do all this in advance of Setpember 30th (when registration will close) until after 7th October.

The booking site will then re-open on 2nd April 2013 for UK ticket buyers (25th February for international buyers), when you will have a week to pay your balance and to book everything else you might need (tipis, campervan tickets, car parking, coach and train travel, cancellation protection etc).

It will not be possible to pay for a ticket in full in October, when only deposits will be taken. This will allow people more time to save for their tickets, knowing that they have secured a booking. It will also help the Festival to reduce costs, allowing us to give more to our joint charities.

You can get even more info from the Glastonbury website.

Michelle Obama took the stage in Charlotte, NC to deliver an inspiring and motivating speech at the Democratic National Convention. Her speech and her outfit received rave reviews. Mrs. O never disappoints the people and she spoke so eloquently about her husband and why he is the best man for the job. She engaged us with stories but most important she had facts and stats to back up her words.

CBS Lands 'Beverly Hills Cop' Redo

CBS has ordered the “Beverly Hills Cop” adaptation from Shawn Ryan, Eddie Murphy and Sony Pictures TV. After fielding hefty offers from each of the Big Four networks, Sony Pictures TV settled on CBS as the best home for the revival of the franchise that yielded three movies starring Eddie Murphy in 1984, ’87 and 1994. The new spin will revolve around the son of Murphy’s Axel Foley character, a cop transplanted from Detroit to Beverly Hills. Aaron Foley is a blue-collar cop who is also on the force and struggling to escape the shadow of his father. CBS has given the show a firm

pilot production commitment. Murphy will appear in the pilot and may be a recurring character if the show is picked up to series. Ryan and Murphy are executive producers with Marney Hochman Nash of Ryan’s Sony-based Midd Kid Prods.

CBS had the edge over its rivals in landing the project because of its strong track record with action-dramas with “NCIS,” “NCIS: Los Angeles” and “Hawaii 5-0.” CBS Entertainment prexy Nina Tassler said the network jumped at the chance to be in biz with Ryan, who previously steered the CBS drama “The Unit” from 2006-2009, and Murphy.
