Yasiin Bey/Mos Def (@MosDefOfficial) – Sama’an Ashrawi (@SamaanAshrawi) Interview

Dope interview.

During Black Star’s performance in Los Angeles on September 22nd, 2012, Talib Kweli and Yasiin Bey (formerly known as Mos Def) diverted from the original lyrics of “RE: DEFinition” and chose to rap in unison, “Let’s get free just like the Palestinians!”

After the show, Sama’an Ashrawi spoke with Yasiin about Black Star’s choice to take a stand for justice and peace in Palestine.
