The rapper has revealed that he will donate £1 from every ticket sold for his London O2 Arena gig in March next year to the late singer’s charity, which was set up in 2011 to help vulnerable people in the UK.

Amy’s dad, Mitch Winehouse, confirmed to The Sun: “Nas has announced that £1 from every ticket sold for his London concert taking place at the 02 on 19th March 2013 will be donated to the Amy Winehouse Foundation. Amy and Nas had a special relationship and he will also be at our New York Gala event on 21st March 2013.”

Nas and Amy Winehouse met after being introduced by ‘Back To Black’ producer Salaam Remi in 2008. They collaborated on ‘Like Smoke’, which appeared on the singer’s posthumous number one album ‘Lioness: Hidden Treasures’.
