October 22, 2012:

I came across Trinidad James about a week ago when he released his “All Gold Everything” video which already has 160,534 on YouTube. Over the summer, Trinidad James released his debut mixtape, Don’t Be S.A.F.E, along with the “Gold On My MacBook” video which now has over 49,000 views on YouTube. Some may think he sounds like A$AP Rocky, but I disagree: I would say that his music is greatly influenced by his hometown of Atlanta. Something tells me we might be seeing the young Atlanta rapper with an MMG Chain in the future, as the boss Ricky Rozay may have his eyes on Trinidad James.

If in fact my MMG guesses are true, then I’m sure there will be a bidding war (so he better sign him now). I think Trinidad James will be a star and he would be a good fit for Maybach Music Group because there isn’t a rapper like him on the team. Trinidad James will be a great addition to MMG and could be considered an addition to Ross’ Dream Team. We will be on the look out in the coming weeks to see what happens but — as I said before — don’t be surprised when you see Trinidad James with a MMG Chain.

*Sidenote: DJ Scream played Trinidad James tonight on Power 107.9. DJ Scream is signed to MMG. The signs are all there for the young Atlanta rapper.

Update. Trinidad James is Backstage at FAMU with Rick Ross. Yall probably thought I was crazy.

Trinidad James at his second MMG tour stop in a week. This time he made appearance in Columbia , South Carolina.
