Russell Westbrook Tells Reporters: “Ya’ll N***as Trippin’” (Video)

Reports The Urban Daily:

After years of asking the same questions, reporters try to find new ways to get responses from players. Sometimes it works, sometimes it can have comedic results.

After 109 to 94 loss to the Utah Jazz before the All-Star break, a reporter asked Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook about his team’s effort. His angle of question is something coaches and players have been asked dozens of times before: “Did you lose the game or did they win?” Essentially, did you beat yourself with poor play or was the other team just that much better than you? Given that the Jazz are ten games behind the Thunder in the Western Conference at this point in the season OKC should have handled them easily. So it was SORT of a fare question. But Westbrook wasn’t having any of it.

“What? Bro what are you talking about man? I’m out man,” he said turning his back to the reporters. “Ya’ll n*ggas trippin’.”

Kanye West’s 97 Year-Old Grandpa Won’t Attend Kimye Wedding

While Portwood Williams thinks highly of Kim K, he is also familiar with how her marriage to estranged husband Kris Humphries turned out.

“She is beautiful — and she’s just as sweet as she is beautiful — and that’s what I liked about her!” said Portwood Williams Sr., the wizened-but-wise grandad who has long been a tower of strength for West. “She was just down to earth, she’s rich, and those kinds of people, they’ve got everything,” added Williams, a veteran of Oklahoma’s civil rights sit-ins of the 1950s who helped desegregate lunch counters. Williams knows all about long-term nuptials — his own marriage lasted 72 years, until the death of wife Lucille five years ago. And he knows all about short-term unions — like the 72 days Kim spent with NBA star Kris Humphries before filing for divorce. “They didn’t make it,” he joked. (New York Daily News)

Mr. Williams also said he has no plans on watching KimYe wed due to the frequency of couples divorcing these days.

That pessimistic view of modern marriage led him to conclude — after five hours in which Kim charmed him last autumn — that the pair should be in no rush to tie the proverbial knot. “Maybe they could have a successful marriage, but I’m not going to spend time worrying if they’re going to make it or not,” Williams said. But if Kayne ever gets around to popping the question, would he go? “No, I don’t do weddings,” he quipped. “I don’t like weddings… You spend a lot of money, then in a few weeks, you’re separated!” (New York Daily News)

Beyonce Ticket Demand Causes Stampede In Manchester

This is what happens when you tell a mob of fans who spend the night at your box office over some tickets that they’ve wasted their time. From That Grape Juice:

After spending the night outside the Manchester Arena Box Office, the ‘Be With You’ singer’s fans were hoping to be the first to purchase the tickets come 9.30 am the following morning.

Unfortunately for them, an announcement from the Box Office revealed that it would not be opening due to health and safety reasons and that-according to some fans-is due to the events of the night before.

Billing it the scariest night of their lives, members of the performers ‘Beyhive’ revealed that large groups of mens began to barge through the cue armed with bottles- ordering them to hand over their tickets once they had purchased them. This, causing a mad rush as fans lower down in the cue attempted to push forward, which saw a stampede ensue.

“I stayed in the tunnel outside the arena to avoid being crushed when all hell broke loose at about 5am. Men were ripping open fire doors that were locked. Once opened, they fought to get through one side of a double door. Children were getting crushed and screaming. It was horrible. By far the worst night of my life.”
