Wow! Gotta say…..I don’t really agree with this one. What are your thoughts?

Not only did Nas drop potent stick-to-your-rib singles like “Daughters,” “The Don” and “Bye Baby,” he went to great lengths to craft memorable story-driven videos to match. ” ‘The Don’ was a great visual, ‘Daughters’ was a great visual, ‘Nasty’ was great and I think with this record coming off of Distant Relatives, nobody expected this,” pointed out MTV Programming VP Yomi Desalu while referencing the mixed reviews surrounding Nas’ Damien Marley collaboration album in 2010.

UPDATE: Sway has since deleted the below Tweet, but as usual, someone with too much time dedicated the TV in question to a brand new Twitter account:

Sway decided to take the high road…..sort of…..by bouncing Kanye West’s rant off as a lighthearted joke while promoting the final episodes of this year’s Hottest MC list (which premieres on MTV Jams this Thursday).

Rye Rye – After Party

The first time I met this emcee from Baltimore, I was extremely inebriated and I kept mispronouncing her name. Haunts me to this day.

Moving along…..Rye Rye drops his latest track for the masses as she prepares to release her upcoming mixtape RYEde or Die. Check it out below…..is she still signed to M.I.A.?

The Last Skeptik (@thelastskeptik) – Park Champ (Video)

You can download the audio here.

‘Park Champ’ is the first leak from DJ / Producer The Last Skeptik’s solo, instrumental album masterpiece, entitled ‘Thanks For Trying’. Released on BBE records on April 29th, the album is a mad cinematic, orchestral based epic, and ‘Park Champ’ being the first leak is a taste of the more synthy, hip hop meets electronic, Trap-in-a-blender side of the record.
