Page 31 covered the Pre-VMA black tie art gala put together by Monster along with special hosts Swizz Beatz and Teyana Taylor. Swizz Beatz truly left his mark on the event by performing his brand new single Hands Up featuring Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross, 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne. In addition Swizz Beatz gave those in attendance a very special surprise by bringing Junior Reid on stage and performing One Blood with the reggae singer. Other celebrity guests included Felecia “Snoop” Pearson from The Wire, R&B singer Elle Varner and reality TV star Po, known from Lala’s Full Court Life.
