On leaving her label:
I feel like right now, I just needed something new. And I’ve earned the right to make my own choices and make my own decisions. I wished them well and they wished me well. No hard feelings. I just needed a fresh new start.There are different offers on the table. I’m grateful for that, very grateful for that. But at the same time, I just want to see what it feels like right now. I’m just in the studio, on my own, just having a really good time just being creatively free.
On her new album:
A fifth album is coming! I’m in the studio right now. I just actually got started last week. It’s been wonderful so far. A fresh new, like, spin on everything with writers and producers. Just being inspired, you know what I mean? Creativity. Creativity is an amazing, an amazing tool I’m able to use every day.
