One of the better treats at this year’s SXSW festival was (obviously) the Mass Appeal (and GrooveShark) showcase, featuring none other than one of the magazine’s “shareholders” Nasir Jones. Above, he performs the uber-classic ‘The World Is Yours’ for the crowd, but enjoy the extra clip below as well.

Chris Brown Is Heading Back To Jail
UPDATE: A few things we heard that was going on with Breezy in rehab…
– He apparently stated that he’s “good with guns and knives” during a morning rehab reflection class;
– Touching another female client inappropriately; and
– Possibly failing a drug test.
****************************************
TMZ reports:
Chris Brown is on his way to jail right now, because he violated a judge’s order by getting booted from the rehab facility where he’s been living for nearly 4 months … TMZ has learned.
The judge in the Rihanna beating case ordered Chris to live in the Malibu rehab facility for 90 days to get anger management therapy, and he completed the stint earlier this month. BUT … at the last court hearing, the judge modified things and ordered Chris to stay in the facility while the Washington D.C. assault case ran its course.
The deal was this … if Chris left rehab, he would go directly to jail.
Sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ … Brown was thrown out of the rehab facility this morning, for violating “internal rules.” We do not know precisely what Chris did, but we’re told it did not involve violence or drugs.
Sources tell TMZ … Chris was caught having “an inappropriate relationship” with a female worker at the beginning of the month, but that is NOT why he was thrown out today.
As you recall, Chris was previously thrown out of a different facility for throwing a rock at his mom’s car window.
Chris was picked up by L.A. County Sheriff’s deputies a short time ago and is on his way to jail.
Lil Boosie’s 4 Baby Mamas Develop A Reality Show
TMZ reports:
Lil Boosie’s 4 baby mamas have another bun in the oven — a reality show.
Sources close to the production tell TMZ, Boosie’s babes — Walnita, Tracey, Trivia, and Gerlissa — have been putting together a pilot episode over the last few months while the rapper’s been locked behind bars. Together, they’ve mothered Boosie’s 7 children (aged 4-11).
FYI, Walnita’s the baby mama who was arrested back in 2010 for trying to smuggle Boosie drugs in jail.
We’re told the reality show will focus on the ladies’ unusual friendships that formed as the result of their … peculiar circumstances. It’s unclear if Boosie — née Torrence Hatch — will also be participating now that he’s free.
According to sources, the producers behind the show are currently shopping it to several networks — including Oxygen, WE, and Fuse — but so far, no deal is in place.
Black Twitter Reacts To Nas’ Feminist Tweet
HipHopWired reports:
Nas has offered his unique brand of social commentary via his vast catalog of music over the years, and he’s tried his best to promote intelligence via his art. However, a tweet last night from the veteran rapper comparing feminists to the Mafia without explanation has sparked a lot of discussion and confusion on Twitter.
To make matters even more interesting, Nas followed that tweet with, “I don’t have to agree with you to respect you” – also without any type of explanation. Like some Twitter users pointed out, Nas appeared in a photo this week with Angela Davis, a woman he referred to as his idol and a hero of feminists worldwide. – See more at: http://hiphopwired.com/2014/03/14/nas-angers-feminists-offensive-tweet-twitter-reacts-photos/#sthash.SFoVd6wd.dpuf
UPDATED: Drake & Rihanna Spotted Leaving Men’s Bathroom (VIDEO/PICS)
UPDATED: Now with video footage below (sort of).
****************************************
SOHH reports:
A new photo of Drizzy and RiRi next to a public restroom is making its rounds across the Internet.
The saga continues as Drake and Rihanna were spotted together once again, this time exiting the men’s bathroom. It’s unclear whether the two were in the restroom at the same time but it’s certain that the pair were enjoying yet another meal together. Dining at the Zouk Restaurant in Manchester, Drizzy and Rih were photographed getting cozy prior to their bathroom trip. The two have been spotted on several dates over the past month and even put on a steamy performance at Drake’s “Would You Like A Tour” stop in Paris.
They were also spotted at some Manchester club they rented out, apparently looking real romantic (which isn’t really new anymore).

Zuse ft. Young Thug – Mayday (Prod. by Metro Boomin)
Metro and Thugger collaborate with Jamaican-born ATL rapper Zuse, who’s been making a name for himself. I swear I’ve been hearing the same preset synths from Metro for a minute now, I wish he’d change it up. Also, having a crashing plane as your cover art is NEVER a good idea.

Master P Reportedly Left His Ex-Wife On Welfare
TMZ reports:
Master P’s estranged wife claims he’s worth $200 MILLION … yet she says he’s left her and their 4 minor kids so destitute … they’ve been struggling on welfare.
Sonya Miller says she’s indignant … because she helped Master P create one of the most successful labels in hip-hop — No Limit Records — yet he has cut her off like a bad habit.
Sonya says things have become so desperate … she had to move in with her adult son, Lil Romeo.
Master P hasn’t even responded to her divorce petition. The judge fined him $10K for ignoring the case, but he doesn’t seem to care.
Sonya explains in her docs she hooked up with Master P when he didn’t have a pot to pee in … back in ’89. They started the label together, and when it exploded, they built an empire, which include clothing manufacturing, sports management, toy manufacturing, and film and TV production.
Oh yeah, they also created an adult erotic phone chatline.
She may be working the phone line if Master P doesn’t ante up.

SXSW Drunk Driver Revealed, Charged With Capital Murder
HipHopWired reports:
Rashad Charjuan Owens, 21, of Killeen, TX was set to perform during the festival under the stage name KillingAllBeatz or K.A.B254 when a police traffic stop alarmed him, causing him to recklessly plow through a police barricade and kill 27-year-old Jamie Ranae and 35-year-old Steven Craenmehr of the Netherlands.
Owens now faces two counts of capital murder and countless charges of aggravated assault.
His brother, Lamar Wilson, told the American-Statesman that he last saw Owens on Wednesday evening before his show at Club 1808 near 12th and Chicon streets. Owens, whose stage name is KillingAllBeatz or K.A.B254, was the father of six young children, one of whom lives in Alaska, Wilson said.
His brother had been studying music production at an online university and had borrowed the car he was in from a friend named Andrew Bramwell, Wilson said. Christopher Haug, chief of media relations for Fort Hood, told the American-Statesman that Bramwell was a soldier at the Killeen military base and had reported his car stolen Thursday morning. Haug said Owens was not a Fort Hood soldier.
Wilson said he was shocked by news of collision. “He’s a real good dude, he was in college and making music, and was trying to live regular,” the brother said.
Police Chief Art Acevedo said the man will face two charges of capital murder and 23 counts of aggravated assault. Police officials confirmed the identity of the suspect to the American-Statesman just before noon Thursday.
To make the ordeal even more disheartening, this isn’t Owens’ first run-in with the law…with a drunk driving offense.
In October 2011, he was charged with driving under the influence, leaving the scene of an accident and a petition to revoke probation during his stay in Alaska. Obviously he was underage at the time.
