17-Year-Old Reveals That He Slept With His 35-Year-Old Teacher

kid

This has become so commonplace (just google it), that I don’t think there’s really much of a stigma attached anymore. Fortunately (or unfortunately, depending on who you ask), this teacher has paid for that mistake…from Daily Mail:

A woman teacher who spent the night in a pupil’s bed wearing only her jeans and bra has narrowly avoided a prison sentence.

Bernadette Smith was said to be infatuated with Gary Ralston, who was 16 at the time.

That obsession cost the married 35-year-old her job and reputation, a court heard.

Gary, who waived his anonymity to speak of their relationship, said Smith had been his favourite teacher before she targeted him for particular attention.

He said: ‘I was thinking I was quite lucky. A lot of the boys fancied her. I couldn’t believe she was with me. It was the last thing I expected. She said she thought she was going crazy but couldn’t help the way she was feeling.’

Placing the mother of three under a supervision order yesterday, Sheriff Wyllie Robertson told her she had committed a serious abuse of trust.

He said it was only the fact that she had not gone further with the boy that had saved her from a jail sentence.

Gary revealed how his relationship with Smith, who was his teacher during third, fourth and fifth year, began during secret meetings at school.

‘When I started year six, Bernadette was no longer my teacher, but we’d pass each other in the corridor, say hello and smile,’ he said. He said that Smith later summoned him to her classroom.

‘I walked in and as soon as I sat down she said, “Ever since we’ve been back at school and I’ve seen you around, I’ve been realising I have feelings for you”,’ he said.

Gary said: ‘We got ready for bed and I felt nervous. I got into bed with my boxers on. She took off her top, but kept her bra and jeans on, and slid in beside me.

‘We cuddled and talked – nothing else happened.’

His father Richard Ralston, 42, said: ‘I wasn’t pleased about what happened, but you’re an adult at 16 in Scotland so I didn’t want to interfere too much.

‘I want Gary to make decisions and learn from any mistakes.’

Prosecutor Ann Orr told Stirling Sheriff Court that when interviewed, Smith said ‘she loved the boy and they both wanted to be together’. She admitted kissing Gary and staying the night in his bedroom.

No comment, especially if this guy has a chance to win that money. From Business Insider:

A man is suing McDonald’s for $1.5 million because he says he suffered emotional distress after only receiving one napkin with his order.

The man, Webster Lucas, ordered a Quarter Pounder Deluxe in Pacoima, Calif., last month, and confronted the manager to ask for more napkins…when the manager allegedly refused, Lucas retorted that he should have gone somewhere else.

Then, Lucas alleges that the manager made a racist comment, mumbling “something about ‘you people’,” according to TMZ. Lucas is African-American.

He emailed customer service, and was offered free burgers, which he refused.

PAY UP: Da Brat Hit With $6.4 Million Judgement Over Bottle Attack

So Da Brat has already served 3 years in prison for beating a former NFL cheerleader with a bottle….now, she’s going to have to pay financially.

The victim, former Atlanta Falcons cheerleader Shayla Stevens, hit Da Brat with a lawsuit while she was in prison….a couple of days ago, the civil trial judge and jury awarded her with a whopping $6.4 million judgement: $2.4 million for “causing Stevens’ permanent facial scarring, neurological impairment, and severe mental pain” and $3.7 million to “cover her injuries and past/future loss of earnings”.

This leads me to my next question: how to judgements get paid when the convicted don’t have the money offhand?

Justin Bieber’s Drug Use “Out Of Control” In Atlanta

Justin-Bieber-Renting-Atlanta-Home

From TMZ:

Justin Bieber is going harder than ever on sizzurp and weed since living in Atlanta … multiple friends involved in his life tell TMZ.

TMZ broke the story … Justin has had an alarming problem with sizzurp for well over a year, and he’s been a big fan of weed for a long time. But since moving to Atlanta, we’re told he’s “constantly high” … rarely leaving the house. As one source said, “Drinking more lean, smoking more weed than ever.”

When Justin lived in L.A. he had a schedule set up by people connected to his business. Since moving to Atlanta, he has no schedule and no rules.

Some of the people in Bieber’s life that have confronted him about his drug use have been pushed away since Bieber made his move. And we’re told — one by one — Bieber is removing people he says have “ratted” him out over his drug use.

Justin does spend a fair amount of time in the studio in Atlanta … working on hip hop … but we’re told rarely is he sober during those sessions. And the thing is … that’s part of the rap game.

Medical Examiner: Philip Seymour Hoffman Overdosed On Heroin, Cocaine & Prescription Meds

From TMZ:

Philip Seymour Hoffman was killed earlier this month by a deadly mixture of heroin, cocaine, and several other drugs — this according to the NYC medical examiner.

The medical examiner just released the official cause of death — listing “acute mixed drug intoxication” as the reason PSH passed away suddenly on February 2nd.

According to the medical examiner, the drugs in the actor’s system at the time of his death were heroin, cocaine, benzodiazepines (anti-anxiety) and amphetamines (uppers like Adderall).

Mixing heroin and cocaine is often termed “speedballing.” It’s the same mixture that killed Chris Farley, River Phoenix, and John Belushi.
