So Da Brat has already served 3 years in prison for beating a former NFL cheerleader with a bottle….now, she’s going to have to pay financially.
The victim, former Atlanta Falcons cheerleader Shayla Stevens, hit Da Brat with a lawsuit while she was in prison….a couple of days ago, the civil trial judge and jury awarded her with a whopping $6.4 million judgement: $2.4 million for “causing Stevens’ permanent facial scarring, neurological impairment, and severe mental pain” and $3.7 million to “cover her injuries and past/future loss of earnings”.
This leads me to my next question: how to judgements get paid when the convicted don’t have the money offhand?
