Today, Prince announced a new deal with Warner Bros., along with a plan to release a re-mastered digital deluxe version of Purple Rain in celebration of the film and album’s 30-year anniversary. The new deal is a global licensing partnership which will cover all of his albums from 1978 into the ’90s. Under the new deal, Prince plans on releasing a new album with all new music.
