R&B has never necessary been a first-week killer in the last decade or so (I’m speaking on actual Rhythm-and-Blues, not ‘Pop’ such as Beyonce, Rihanna or — nowadays — Chris Brown), so looking at these sales don’t necessary mean flop….yet.
With that said, Hits Daily Double is reporting that August Alsina’s Testimony is on track to sell 50-60 thousand units in its first week, followed by a not-so-impressive 30-35K for Jason Derulo’s Talk Dirty.
