I called this a while ago, when Thug was caught up in that whole Atlantic/1017 debacle. Kevin Liles, an A&R for Lyor Cohen’s 300 record label, did a RevoltTV interview and explained Thug’s situation. If you didn’t know, 300 is  an “independent” label with distribution from Atlantic. Run by two former major-label big wigs (Cohen and Todd Muscowitz), the label is smaller, has Google backing ($5 Million) and is geared more towards digital “content” than the old record label system.
