At one point, the idea of an artist or group (a veteran artist or group specifically) asking fans for money to make a new album seemed pretty hilarious….that is, until ones of De La Soul raised loads of cash doing so, proving that your fanbase will still support. Next up is legendary group The Geto Boys, who have turned to Kickstarter in the hopes of raising (at least) $100,000 for their new album Habeas Corpus.
