Bobby Shmurda is expected to be out this time next year. From Page Six:

The 29-year-old “Computers” rapper, also known as Chad Marshall, was released on parole Tuesday after spending nearly four years at the Collins Correctional Facility in Erie County near the Canadian border for weapons charges, state Department of Corrections records show.

The Brooklyn-born crooner was initially arrested in 2014 alongside rapper Bobby Shmurda and other members of their GS9 crew on a slew of murder, drugs and weapons charges, Complex reported.

Rebel and Shmurda later took a plea on conspiracy to possess weapons and possession of weapons charges and were each sentenced to seven years behind bars, the outlet reported.

In August, Rebel had a successful meeting with the Board of Parole, which granted an early release date of Dec. 15, 2020, and allowed the rapper to finish out his sentence under community supervision, the outlet reported.

Even as he was behind bars, Rebel, who has an estimated net worth of $100,000, didn’t stop making music. He recently appeared on Pop Smoke’s song “Make It Rain” after delivering verses via a collect call.
