A product of Southeast Washington DC, Lil Benny was small in stature but his talent and influence on DC’s GoGo music would grow to be bigger than life. Also known as Little Benny, he was a notable figure in the Washington DC GoGo music scene. He was a talented musician, specifically known for his skills as a trumpet player. His real name was Anthony Harley, and he played a significant role in popularizing GoGo music in the DC area. Unfortunately he passed away in his sleep in 2010.
