Kelly Rowland & The-Dream Visit 106 & Park

First off, I can’t help but notice that Angela Simmons is co-hosting the show with her ex (is this new? I don’t watch much 106 nowadays)…..moving forward, Kelly & Terius took a break from their tour to promote IV Play, which is currently on pace to never receive a plaque ever. He did recieve one for 50 million albums sold for other artists, and along with some big time support, tears were flowing. Check out the clips above and below.

Gucci Mane Announces Mr. Guwop Album

gucci-mane

Gucci Mane sits down with Fader and he revealed that he and Marilyn Manson recently recorded a song together entitled “Fancy Bitch”:

“We made it whenever ‘Spring Breakers’ came out in Cali. He came to the sneak premiere, and after we did the red carpet and watched the movie, me and him went to the studio and made us a record.”

No word on where this track will end up, though Gucci Mane did take to his Twitter earlier today to announce a new album, Mr. Guwop, slated for release this Fall. Trap House 3 is currently available on iTunes.

Wale On Cipha & Rosenberg; Speaks On Losing Tiara Thomas

While in NY this morning, Wale visited Hot 97…while there, he spoke on releasing The Gifted a week after Kanye, J. Cole and Mac Miller, the artwork, Twitter and this weekend’s Summer Jam.

In addition, Ebro and Co. got Wale to divulge a bit of personal feeling over what was an apparent loss of one of his artists, Tiara Thomas:

I was a casualty of the game. The bitter reality just hit me. It’s all good. Shout out to Tiara Thomas…shout out to Tiara Thomas. She’s a dope artist. She’s an incredible artist. Bad is an incredible record, she wrote it.

Their situation met through [me] I was recording with the situation she’s in now and they met. It’s just the game though. My thing is I don’t really believe in paperwork too soon cause I like to show and prove what I can do. And I ain’t want to scare nobody. Like yo ‘let’s make the music, let’s vibe.’ You live and learn so that’s why I’ll kick myself before I complain about somebody else. It’s the music business! Like a lot of people ain’t ya friend-friend for real sometimes. She got her situation and she’s happy. I learned. I have a big heart. I give give give, I take producers off the street back home and I say, ‘come on, roll with me and we gon get this money. I’m gonna find you a niche’. I do that.

She did what she had to do and what was in her best interest. And I guess that’s what all people do. So shout out to her and her situation.

She’s talented. She’s dope. If you want to support her, you just support her. I’m not going to throw no shade to her or whatever. I learned and she’ll have a great career.

RUMOR MILL: Is Kanye West Re-Recording ‘Yeezus’ In Its Entirety?

Kanye-West-2013-Paris-Fashion-Week-003

I don’t normally pay that much attention to rumors, but the combination of J. Cudder and our new devotion to checking out KanyeToThe.com for updates has me on edge about this Yeezus album, and now I see this in AllHipHop’s Rumors section:

Word on the streets is that Kanye is actually making an attempt at re-recording Yeezus because of the lukewarm reception to the first songs? I’m not sure. I have not really heard those songs. As far as I know they aren’t on iTunes and have not been sent around. But, I think the second rumor is more feasible. And, that rumor says that Yeezy is adding some additional songs that are more commercially viable. Everything can’t be dark and gloomy songs about slaves and black skinheads. Insiders say that Kanye isn’t scared or anything. He’s just doing what he does to create the best product possible.

Remember folks: this is just a rumor that I simply wanted to bring to anyone’s attention that missed it.

Meek Mill Previews ‘Dreamchasers 3’ On Vine

I suppose this is somewhat of an introduction to Vine for him, but Meek Mill reently posted some clips of him previewing a few tracks from the upcoming Dreamchasers 3. If you look hard enough you can see other songs on the tracklist as well. Above, Meek Mill shows us how to heat up a sandwich prison-style (or, in my experience, the-gas-bill-is-cut-off-style).

Arab (Soulja Boy Affiliate) Arrested In Hit & Run Case

soulja-boy-air-jordan-iii-3-black-cement

Now, I’m going to assume that the Arab they’re referring to the one we all think it is, as a Google search of the listed name in the below article seems to confirm it. From TMZ:

A man was seriously injured January 9 in Hollywood after colliding with a Bentley that was making an illegal turn. After some crack investigating by the motorcyclist’s friend, cops got wind that the phantom car may have belonged to Soulja Boy.

Police have arrested Abrahim Mustafa … we’re told he’s one of Soulja Boy’s hangers-on. He’s a rapper who goes by Arab. He’s been arrested for felony hit-and-run.

We’re told cops still want to speak to Soulja Boy.
