Fresh Porter – ‘OMDN’ (Stream)

Virginia native Fresh Porter has been making waves nationwide. Porter, who was only released from prison just a year ago, already has two projects under his belt and a number of notable co-signs.

His latest full-length release, OMDN, features Virginia Pusha T, and Trey Songz, as well as Kahri 1k, Young Crazy and 1017’s Pooh Shiesty. Produced by Yung Lan, Emkay, SayZay and Mow, OMDN is raw, catchy, high-energy music from the heart.

Porter’s project has been a long time coming. He grew up in the notorious city of Petersburg, half an hour south of Richmond. Moving fully into the streets after the passing of his grandmother in his youth, Fresh was indicted in 2016 on drug charges and incarcerated. Porter came home in 2020 to a different world. He explains the process of making OMDN and what the title means below.

OMDN is a acronym for on my dead niggas, which is slang in Petersburg verbatim to the phrase On God; we usually reference our dead homeboys to show sincerity and honesty. The concept for the album came about while I was serving my 4 year sentence in prison. During my bid, I lost three close friends and wanted to do something to honor them. That’s why you see their faces on the cover instead of mine. OMDN also introduces our culture to the world through my music.”

Stream OMDN below via Audiomack, or catch it on your favorite DSP. This isn’t the last that we’ll hear from Fresh Porter.

YoungBoy Never Broke Again Arrested On Federal Warrant

Damn … as seen on TMZ:

NBA YoungBoy is in FBI custody after LAPD cops pulled him over and tracked him down when he allegedly attempted to flee the scene.

We’re told the bust went down Monday … LAPD and the feds attempted to pull over a vehicle NBA YoungBoy was in because he has an outstanding federal warrant. That set off a short pursuit — but once the car stopped, cops say the rapper bolted on foot.

Our law enforcement sources tell us the cops set up a perimeter and brought in a K-9 to help find YoungBoy. BTW, we’re told the police dog didn’t bite him — but did sniff him out.

We’re told the cops found a firearm in the vehicle — unclear if that belongs to YoungBoy, but we know the feds have him now.

Young E Class Feat. Black Cobain – “Ready To Die” (Video)

Shot by Polish’d Productions:

“The first offering from Young E Class newest project. Ready To Die is a heartfelt one. Young E Class takes you into a journey of pain starting from his childhood traumas. The captivating beat from Mouse Trap allows for moments of lyrical Cinemax. The vulnerability on this track can pull anyone in. Featuring Black Cobain of Jet Life Records. The merger of these two lyrical artist is priceless.”
