I guess everybody is not a fan of The Throne’s “Murder To Excellence†Fred Hampton Jr, son of slain Black Panther Fred Hampton, expressed his frustration with Jay-Z’s lyric, “I arrived on the day Fred Hampton diedâ€. While on a panel at the University of Chicago this past weekend, he had this to say:
“Fred Hampton didn’t die,†Hampton Jr. said. “He was assassinated. Saying Fred Hampton died is like the school teacher telling students that Christopher Columbus discovered America.†He later went on to refer to Jay-Z as Slave-Z, questioning his motives on the record.

Today, Luda and his 10 year-old daughter Karma, have launched Karma’s World. The URL will focus on child education featuring music, games and more. Luda says:
“We wanted the site to be educational, fun and full of music that all kids will enjoy, but we also wanted it to teach kids more than just academics. The site touches on subjects like, the rewards of hard work and importance of learning manners as well as the idea that doing good deeds for others will bring good into your life – which is the meaning of the word Karma. The music and lyrics, games and stories on the site are all original and were created by me, my daughter and my creative team.â€

The winner, who will be announced Wednesday January 4, 2012, will receive footwear and apparel from LACOSTE, The Scifen Company, and UNDEFEATED.
