French Montana’s is one of the hottest rappers on the street right now . Over the weekend, Hot 97′s Angie Martinez snapped him and Kanye West backstage at the Watch The Throne concert in New Jersey. For weeks, rumors have been ringing that he was signing to Kanye’s G.O.O.D. Music label. Evidently, the courtship caught the New York Post’s attention and documented it today in their famed Page Six column.
It seems Kanye West hasn’t given up on signing “Shot Caller†rapper French Montana to his Def Jam label “G.O.O.D.†Sources at Jay-Z and West’s “Watch the Throne†concert at New Jersey’s Izod Center Saturday say West was “all over†Montana backstage. Since Montana left Akon’s Konvict Muzik, he’s been flirting with West and Rick Ross’ Maybach Music Group. Montana tweeted a photo with West backstage hinting that he’d signed with him. West was later spotted at the Darby Downstairs sitting near the DJ booth where Mick Boogie was spinning.

After fighting with liver cancer, former heavyweight champion Joe Frazier passed away last night at his Philadelphia home. He was 67. The boxing and Hip-Hop community shared their condolences via Twitter. R.I.P. Smokin’ Joe.
