Dr. Dre Apparently Now Knows When Detox Is Coming Out…

…in “we don’t believe you, we need more people” news…from NME:

Dr. Dre’s long-awaited ‘Detox’ album will finally be released in February 2011.

The follow-up to ‘2001’, which was released in 1999, will feature collaborations with Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Akon, Jay-Z, La Roux and The Game.

The news follows Dre’s announcement earlier this week (November 17) that the record’s first official single will be ‘Kush’, featuring Snoop Dogg and Akon.

‘Kush’ is available to hear online now and will be available as an official download from Sunday (21). The cover art is pictured.

‘Detox’ has been in the works since 2003. A specific release date in February has yet to be confirmed.
