Chris Brown Reportedly Got Violent In Rehab

Chris Brown

TMZ reports:

We’re told the rehab facility wanted him OUT after the incident … and that’s why he bailed after only 2 weeks.

Sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ … the L.A. County Probation Dept. is submitting information to the judge today about the incident, along with the criminal assault charge in Washington, D.C. We’re told the Probation Dept will ask the judge to order Chris into a live-in anger management program for a period of months.

Our sources say the D.A. isn’t as forgiving and will ask the judge during today’s progress hearing in the Rihanna beating case to revoke his probation and send him to jail — as early as today.

The hearing is set for 2 PM. We’ll be there.

Tennis (@TennisInc) – Mean Streets

So this is my first time hearing about wonderful Denver-based pop band Tennis, because apparently “Mean Streets” is taking off.  The husband and wife duo really has a great stripped-down sound on this catchy track.  This is from their Small Sound EP, which Pitchfork reviewed just last week.  The EP is great, just pretend you don’t read Pitchfork and feel guiltless in enjoying the music.  You can grab Small Sound via iTunes.

Chief Keef Pays 11K In Back Child Support To Avoid Jail

chief keef and his baby momma

According to TMZ, rapper Chief Keef, was able to dodge a bullet and avoid serving jail time, for his child support issues.  The rapper agreed to pay a little bit over 50% of what he owed in child support to his “baby mama”, and in return he would be able to stay out of jail.

TMZ has obtained court docs which show on October 21st, the judge in Cook County, IL made Keef an offer he couldn’t refuse — cut a check for $11k to your baby mama and you won’t go to jail.

Keef (smartly) forked over the dough … which means cops won’t be ordered to arrest him on sight.

But Keef ain’t exactly out of the woods yet — the rapper is due back in court on December 10 to face the music for blowing off mandatory child support hearings earlier this year.

If the judge finds Keef to be in contempt, he could be sent back to the slammer … where he’s already been this year (twice!) for drug-related offenses.

Drake Sparks Romance Rumors With Rockstar’s Daughter

Drake-and-Zoe-Kravitz

A new photo of Drake and rockstar legend Lenny Kravitz daughter, Zoe Kravitz, hanging out on his tour bus has began to pop up all over the Internet.

Drake’s, Would You Like A Tour?, continues to bring out the stars. Just a few days ago, the rapper was snapped hanging with none other than Zoe Kravitz after a show. In the photo posted by Drake’s Word On Road fan site, the daughter of Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet leans inside Drizzy’s tour bus while the rapper talks on his phone. Several blogs and sites began to wonder if the two were more than just friends. “Could Drake have a new lady in his life? The rapper was spotted packing on the #PDA with Zoe Kravitz while the two were in Toronto.” tweeted ET Canada not too long ago. (RapFix)

Drake has been hanging out, off and on, with Zoe for the past couple of years, so we might have a love spark here. But sources say that singer Rihanna is not very happy about the new couple, sub tweeting subliminal messages showing her frustrations.

Footage Of ‘Knock Out Game’ Spreading Across The Country

Sandra Rose reports:

Authorities say a brutal “knock out game” perpetrated by roaming gangs of youths is responsible for 6 deaths across the country.

In one notorious incident in 2012, a 15-year-old boy was arrested for sucker punching a well-liked teacher in Philadelphia. Since that incident there have been other cases of similar violence against men and women in New York and New Jersey.

In the latest incident in Midwood, a woman was attacked in broad daylight by a young man who walked up behind her, balled up his fist and hit her with all his might on the top of her head then ran off.

The woman, who was loaded down with shopping bags, was not robbed by her assailant.

“She had her purse, she had bags from department stores. There was not even an attempt to take anything from her. It was just a wanton act to hurt another human being,” the victim’s daughter told CBS 2’s Dave Carlin.

“How would you feel if this was happening to you or a member of your family?” she said, “If you don’t like it to happen to you or a member of your family, don’t do it to someone else.”

Psychologists say teens and young men who sucker punch their victims with enough force to knock them out are emotionally troubled people who were probably bullied in school or beaten by their parents as children.

George W. Bush Brings The Jokes To Jay Leno (Video)

Check out the full interview here. From CNN, where you can read the full story:

It seems George W. Bush can take a joke — and tell one.

But before the former President sat down with Jay Leno on the Tonight Show late Tuesday, the comedian turned his successor, Barack Obama, into the brunt of his hard jabs.

Leno raked him over the coals over Obamacare.

“Better him than me,” Bush quipped afterward, relieved. He’s happy to be out of line of fire.

“Eight years is plenty,” he said. “I don’t miss the spotlight.”

Bush has largely avoided it since he left the White House in 2009, and Leno couldn’t help but immediately pry into the reason why.

Leno told the 43rd president that he was surprised that he agreed to appear this time. It was Bush’s fourth appearance on the show.

Bush used the opening to land the first shot at the late-night host, who will go off the air next spring after 20 years on the tube.

“You’re about to head out to pasture. Just wanted to see what you look like, before you got to the gate,” he said to laughs.

Then came his serious answer.

“I don’t think it’s good for the country to have a former president criticize his successor,” Bush said.

As he has often in the past, Bush said that history will judge his legacy. But he didn’t appear concerned.

Historians are still preoccupied with George Washington, he said. “If they’re still writing biographies of the first guy, the 43rd guy doesn’t need to worry.”

Leno asked him for some advice to the sitting President on dealing with tough decisions.

“You have to believe in what you’re doing,” he said. Family, faith and a good team helped him deal with the rest, when he was President, Bush said.

UPDATE: Looks like my wish came true (above).

We first heard this at the end of Kendrick’s ‘Bitch Don’t Kill My Vibe‘ visual. Definitely one of the hardest Oxymoron tracks thus far. If only that album could finally get a release date….
