(CNN) — George Zimmerman was arrested Monday afternoon in central Florida “after deputies responded to a disturbance call,” the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.
Further details about Zimmerman’s arrest in Apopka, Florida, were not immediately released. He will be booked at the county’s correctional facility, the sheriff’s office said.
This is one of several brushes that Zimmerman has had with law enforcement since he was acquitted this year of murder and manslaughter in the 2012 shooting death of teenager Trayvon Martin.
Earlier this month, police in Lake Mary, Florida, said no charges will result from an alleged domestic dispute in September between George Zimmerman and his estranged wife, Shellie Zimmerman.
Since his acquittal in the Martin case, Zimmerman also has been stopped for speeding twice. He was pulled over the first time in Forney, Texas, in July and told the police officer he had a concealed weapon permit and a gun in his glove compartment. The officer wrote on his incident report that he gave Zimmerman a verbal warning.
Zimmerman was pulled over in early September going 60 mph in a 45-mph zone in Lake Mary and received a $256 ticket. He was not carrying a weapon at the time.

The Great Gatsby-themed Friday night shindig included at least 20 strippers, TMZ reported, and Bieber allegedly dished out $10,000 in tips throughout the night.
The gossip site also reported that the 19-year-old’s party was filled with alcohol and weed.
At around 1 a.m., the party which had approximately 100 guests, including Snoop Lion, grew so noisy for neighbors that the police were called. They warned the Canadian crooner to keep it down, but apparently the good times didn’t stop because police were called again at 3 a.m. and then again at 5.30 a.m. by a neighbor who wasn’t feeling so neighborly. He allegedly filed a police report against the star for disturbing the peace.
The party was actually so extreme, that the guests were forced to enter into a $3 million dollar confidentiality agreement (TMZ):
Guests and workers signed a confidentiality agreement — obtained by TMZ — in which they agreed not to tweet, text, phone, Facebook, record, write or in any other manner spill the beans on what went on inside.
The document provides … anyone who violates the confidentiality agreement will automatically be on the hook for $3 mil … no trial, no arguing, just pay up.
People who worked the party were also required to sign the document.

Washington, Illinois (CNN) — Hundreds of thousands of people were without power and hundreds were without homes across the Midwest on Monday after powerful storms wreaked havoc in three states.
The worst damage appeared to be in Illinois, where six people died.
Gov. Pat Quinn declared seven counties a state disaster area, including Tazewell County, where a tornado left parts of Washington, Illinois, in ruins.
“Devastation. Sadness. People that lost everything,” is how Washington Mayor Gary Manier described the scene to CNN’s Chris Cuomo on “New Day.”

Another tornado in Washington County, Illinois, east of St. Louis, left a path of debris that stretched more than three miles, according to a preliminary survey by the National Weather Service.
While the bulk of the storm had moved offshore into the Atlantic Ocean and the threat of severe weather Monday was small, damaging wind gusts of up to 40 mph were still possible in parts of the Northeast, CNN meteorologist Indra Petersons said Monday morning. In the Great Lakes region, 50 mph gusts were possible, she said.

The rapper in question — George Watsky, whom we posted about before, except for simply being dope and not doing anything ridiculous — has since posted a message on Facebook regarding the incident. From Live Leak:
The Vans Warped Tour was shut down after rapper George Watsky’s 12-metre stage jump went dramatically wrong.
The 27-year-old climbed to the top of a lighting truss high above the audience at the London rock festival before attempting to dive into the audience.
Watsky suffered unknown injuries after falling to the floor when the audience reportedly parted to avoid impact.
A female member of the audience also suffered a broken arm after the accident.
