Wale, RapFix Live, Full Episodes
Wale has already dropped the classic (yes, classic) Mixtape About Nothing and More About Nothing projects, which were both conceptualized around Jerry Seinfeld’s hit sitcom. Now, he’s got a new project on the way with the legendary comedian, and it could come out before the year is out, after The Gifted:
On “RapFix Live” this week, D.C.’s own shared that he’s been on the phone with Jerry Seinfeld and the two have plenty of material on wax.
“I told you I could drop two albums this year,” he told host Sway Calloway. “I talked to Jerry.”
“Comedy’s art, man. The ability to make somebody feel something: that’s art,” Wale said. “However you look at it, whether you’re an author, a painter, a singer, a rapper, a spoken-word artist — art. So I see the art in the show. I see the art in the dialogue in the show, how you can conceptualize some of the conversations that they have on that show. It’s a lot of genius that goes into that, and I appreciate it.”
Taken from TMZ:
Ray J still has no idea why Bad Azz attacked him last night — telling TMZ Live, he thought the two settled their beef a LONG time ago.
Gucci Mane is a really intriguing figure: where you hear about him in the news, it paints this picture of an imbalanced, violent individual; but she you hear him speak or see his own words, he’s pretty good people….and his recent interview with Vulture is a good example of that. Definitely hit up the link to check out the full interview, but I just wanted to show you guys his response to the hilarious sex scene story that Spring Breakers director Harmony Korine told recently:
Harmony told us that you fell asleep while they were filming your sex scene. Did that really happen?
Yes, I was knocked out. I was tired. I had a concert down there in St. Petersburg, one of the days I had to shoot a scene. Same time, same night. We started shooting at ten o’clock in the evening until one or two o’clock. I was extremely tired because Harmony would work for almost 48 hours straight, I think. Even though Harmony is a close friend and a great director, he’s a hard boss. Make sure you put that in bold letters. [Laughs.]Were you actually having sex, or was it just simulated? It’s confusing from what he says.
I tried to have some. [Laughs.] They just wouldn’t let me. It was simulated, but, you know, I wish it wasn’t.

Mobb Deep, Music News
Up until this point I still didn’t believe that their upcoming tour was real given their recent squabbles, which is why I’m glad MTV got the duo to speak on what went down and how they’re moving past it:
“Mobb Deep is like brothers, and brothers, we go through things,” Havoc said in an exclusive interview. “At the end of the day, the music is the most important thing and our love for each other it’s only right we’re gonna get right back to work,” Prodigy chimed in.
“The tweets definitely happened and I take my part in that,” Hav told us, with Prodigy seated beside him to his left. “When family goes through things it’s like, they shouldn’t be handled in the streets. I definitely take responsibility for that.”
“Me and Hav got a different type of relationship man. We been through a lot of stuff growing up, just personal stuff,” Prodigy said. “When you dealing with somebody for that long every day, you’re gonna have your little squabbles or whatever, it’s nothing.”
The main topics during this monumental conversation included his 60 MILLION DOLLAR DEAL for Beats By Dre, as well as Eminem’s upcoming album (he says it’s almost completed).
