BREAKING: Pakistan Taliban Leader Open To Talks With Government (Video)

You can read more on the story over at BBC, who scored the exclusive interview with the Taliban leader:

Pakistani Taliban leader Hakimullah Mehsud has told the BBC he is open to “serious talks” with the government but says he has not yet been approached.

In a rare interview, he denied carrying out recent deadly attacks in public places but said he would continue to target “America and its friends”.

The chief loosely controls more than 30 militant groups in the tribal areas.

After being elected PM in May, Nawaz Sharif announced he would open unconditional talks with the Taliban.

The interview with Hakimullah Mehsud was conducted by the BBC’s Ahmed Wali Mujeeb this month in an undisclosed location in the north-western tribal areas.

Asked about the possibility of peace talks with the government, Mehsud said: “We believe in serious talks but the government has taken no steps to approach us. The government needs to sit with us, then we will present our conditions.”

Chris Brown Calls Perez Hilton and Wendy Williams Names…… LOL

Tattle Tailzz reports:

I like Wendy Williams, she is funny to me even though she shades alot of people and rub them the wrong way in the industry. I guess Chris Brown had enough of her shenanigans, because Wendy invited Perez Hilton to the show to explain why he goes in on celebs the way he does. He explains that “Most celebs are not honest and said him and Wendy are which is a lie because both don’t get their stories correct on the celebs they report on.” Well Christopher took to his Twitter to express his disdain for these two.

Papoose Responds To Kendrick Lamar’s Latest Diss

papoose.span

Most of us have already seen/listened to the 15-second snippet of Kendrick’s cypher verse from the BET Hip-Hop Awards…..including Papoose, whom, after further digging (courtesy of UHTN), appears to be the direct target of Kendrick’s shots. XXL recently asked him how he felt on the matter:

You’ve gone back at Kendrick in the past with a verse. Are you planning on that this time?
Yeah yeah, he can’t fuck with me. He’ll never be able to shine my shoes, lyrically. So I’m just gonna be able to continue to prove that, to show and prove, like I did on “Control.” This is hip-hop, I love hip-hop, but I just want to continue to show and prove that he can’t fuck with me lyrically. You can look forward to that in my next release, straight up. I live in the studio, that’s my second home. So yeah, I’m definitely going to respond.

Are you going to wait to hear the full verse?
I don’t gotta wait, he’s very predictable. I already know what he’s capable of and what he’s gonna say; he’s very predictable. I don’t gotta wait. I can go right now and crush that little 15-second shit he did. That ain’t even about nothing. The guy’s predictable; he’s a very predictable artist. I already know what he’s gonna say before he even says it.

@DizzeeRascal – The British Masters – Chapter 10 (Noisey)

Esteemed music journalist John Doran meets Dizzee Rascal in the 10th and final chapter of the series of The British Masters. So far, John has interviewed some of the most influential and colourful characters in British popular music history, including Johnny Marr, Bryan Ferry and Adam Ant.

In John’s own words: “Cutting his teeth as an MC in his early teens, Dizzee wasn’t even out of school when he was one of small group of rappers and producers responsible for the birth of grime. Just 10 years ago he released the genre-defining ‘Boy in da Corner’ which deservedly won him the Mercury Prize. Since then he has turned his attentions almost effortlessly to the pop charts. With five number 1’s under his belt, I get the feeling he is only just warming up, and his eyes are squarely on the international crown.”
