Kanye West released the Season zine containing photos for his “Yeezy Season One” collection for Adidas Originals. He collaborated with photographer Jackie Nickerson for his latest foray beyond music. The photos contain a lot of nudity and pictures of trash and other assorted images. The world waits for this latest release (of clothes) but is it art? The images are available for download at www.seasonzine.com.

Johnny Cinco lets loose a track that was cut from the I Swear mixtape. “They Hate” features Lucci & YFN Kay. It was premiered on DJ Lil Keem’s Vibes mixtape last week, but thanks to DGB, we have a tagless version.
Young Money Yawn releases the second edition of his Street Gospel series, hosted by DJ Drama. Yawn came up in Norfolk, Virginia and had a major co-sign from Pusha T a few years ago. Last year, it was announced that Yawn had signed to RCA records. Street Gospel 2 has some familiar records, like “New Jack City”, “Half The Time” featuring Young Dolph, “Gutta” with Shy Glizzy and “Shout Out to Papi” with Pusha. The tracks are mostly Just Blaze-style soul chops meet 808s in the traditional Southern fashion. “Rain Rain” and “Allergic” stand out (as well as the singles.) Songs like “I Be Shining” seem out of place, with Yawn talking over his own raps and exploring a Migos flow that doesn’t fit his usual style. The mixtape is still worth a listen, especially if you’re unfamiliar with this Virginia rapper.
Even though he just released a mixtape two weeks ago, Lil Riza drops another single, “Dirty Ass.” I’m not sure who exactly this is directed at, but it’s a great track. Let’s hope for more yell-raps in 2015…
Wale releases another cover from his upcoming album. This one looks fairly familiar (it’s just like the original Mixtape About Nothing cover.)
Another Biggie tribute we missed from yesterday. This time, Young Scooter remembers the Notorious BIG and references many of his songs on this Stackboy Twaun-produced track. Scooter’s Married To The Streets 2 is coming soon.
Rapper Big Pooh draws a poignant portrait of personal pain in the final soulful single before his Mello Music Group debut Words Paint Pictures. The Apollo Brown produced joint is drips with melancholy and as Pooh drifts into contemplation on tape – detailing emergency room visits, popping percocet on stage, heavy drinking, and the spiraling out of control that can occur in our lives. Erik “Blakk Soul” Keith lends to the heartache with gorgeous crooning delving into the depths of emotional introspection.
Always good to hear something new Kool Keith, a legend in the rap game with 20+ years doing it.

Kendrick pays tribute to Biggie over “The What”
Maffew Ragazino is one of many to pay tribute to Biggie on the anniversary of his death. Unlike many, Ragazino shot his “Long Kiss Goodnight” tribute at Smalls’ old building in Brooklyn. Ragazino’s album 8 Million Stories is scheduled for a late 2015 release.
