After one single, Katie drops the sequel to her acclaimed Drillary Clinton, hosted and produced by Block on da Trakk.
Lil Herb – Just Bars (Prod. by Southside) (Video)
Steven Michael Sims directed and dropped this new, simple Lil Herb video for a great song G Herbo did with Southside…amazing beat
Young Scooter Ft. Rich Homie Quan, Young Thug – New Young N****s
A crazy new Young Scooter single as king of “Count Music” prepares his new mixtape. Quan and Thug fit perfectly.
Katie Got Bandz ft. Wale – Weak (Tags)
Its basically tradition now for DC and Chicago artists to collaborate with each other yet I’m still surprised to see Wale featured on this Katie track from her sequel to Drillary Clinton, produced by and hosted by Block on da Trakk. Folarin fits surprisingly well over the slow Drill beat.
Ab-Soul – These Days (Album Stream)
TDE’s weirdest dropped his new album today. Upon first listen, this project appears a bit more Poppy and lackluster than what we’re used to from the guy, but come to your own conclusions. Features and beats from the rest of TDE, J. Cole, Rick Ross, Lupe, JMSN, Danny Brown, Action Bronson, Mac Miller, etc. Purchase here.
JABB, Yung Jay & Rambo – O Nah (Freestyle)
Prepare yourselves for a new exclusive. All three members of Alexandria’s “Da Oceans” unite for the first time on wax since “AVA” from Rambo’s Too Trill mixtape. The three go in over “Or Nah” in the raunchiest way possible. JABB goes first, flipping the song title in an interesting way at the end of his verse. Yung Jay wants to introduce you to the squad and wonders if you’ve heard his project. Rambo holds up the rear, wanting a girl that can cook more than just food and hold him down. By the way, this freestyle is just to hold people over. Expect a lot more from “Da O” soon, especially JABB’s sequel to Da Oceans EP, dropping November 24th.
Lyriciss & Osiris Green – Living Proof Revisited
Lyriciss & Osiris Green briefly revisit the classic Living Proof Album by Group Home and DJ Premier, giving it a fresh and local spin. Enjoy
The Weeknd – Often
The Weeknd drops a new track for the first time in…a while. Despite a catchy hook and an interesting, sample-driven beat this track sounds like terrible pop nonsense to me.
Curren$y Drops a Bunch of Videos from The Drive-In Theatre
Curren$y drops four videos from The Drive-In Theatre…enough said.
MED, Blu & Madlib ft. Dam-Funk – Peroxide (Video)
Apparently MED has a project coming out with two of LA’s most elusive rapticians (Blu and Madlib). “Peroxide” is from the upcoming Bad Neighbor album, with Dam-Funk on the feature.
Young Scooter Ft. Future & Casino – Bag It Up
Young Scooter drops the first single off of his new mixtape 80’s Baby, dropping July 4th. Featuring Future, a little of Casino and produced by Chophouze.
Peewee Longway ft. Gucci Mane & Offset – Diamonds
Peewee Longway is apparently dropping a “bonus” version of the Blue M&M, entitled King Sized this Friday, just a week after dropping an album with Gucci Mane. “Diamonds” featuring Gucci and Offset, will be on the new tape.
A$AP Ant – The Big Payback Vol. 2 (Mixtape)
DJ Nick and YG Addie drop a new mixtape with tracks, production and features from Freeway, Ferg and Rocky, Zaytoven, Action Bronson, Lil B. ScHoolBoy Q and more.
Johnny Cinco – Whole Lotta (Prod. by Zaytoven)
Some say all of Zaytoven’s beats sound the same, and they have a point. He uses the same synth sounds and patterns and most of his tracks are at the same tempo. But he can do a lot with a little because his sound has captivated many a listener, regardless of how repetitive it is. And occasionally he mixes it up, changing the quantization, pitch and filtering his tracks. “Whole Lotta” is a great example of that. I haven’t forgotten Johnny Cinco either, the rapper whispers and repeats in a way that is almost underwhelming but works perfectly in complementing the beat.

4Bidden – Vertigo
The always mysterious 4Bidden drops another melodic Electronic track, with elements of House, Trap, classic Hip-Hop and Grime. “Vertigo” is less dissonant, dark and Bass-heavy than some of his other material as of late, but it still remains memorable as ever.
#LatePass Noah-O – R.I.C.H. Ft. Nickelus F & Rum (Video)
Richmond rapper Noah-O grabs local legends Nickelus F & Rum for “RICH”, a music video once taken down from Youtube b off his forthcoming Monument Avenue, project. The video shows the Monument Avenue, an area of Richmond filled with statues, mostly those of people important in the Confederacy…making the song and video directed by Monsee that much more powerful.

Ab-Soul – Closure (Video)
Ab-Soul has a new album, These Days… coming out on Thursday. “Closure”, featuring Jhene Aiko and produced by Sounwave has Soul crooning about lost love. The video reflects that nicely.
Lil Durk – 0 To 300 (Freestyle) (Game & Tyga Diss)
Lil Durk goes in over “0 To 100”. RIP OTF NuNu.
Currensy – A Lil Sumthin (Prod. by PurpDogg)
Producer Purpdogg (who we’ve been hearing a lot about lately) leaks a smooth Curren$y record with an LA Noire sample…perfect summer/car music.
#LatePass Nike Nando – ICON: Lord of the Flyy (Mixtape)
After one quality leak, Nike Nando dropped this great new project last week. Chock full of great beats, samples from wrestling legends and Nando’s usual array of killer rhymes, I’m certainly glad to hear something new from the MD veteran.
Lex Luger & Sheila D – Outer Space
To be frank, I haven’t been that into Lex Luger’s recent jump into rapping. Although he is certainly an amazing producer, most of his tracks have been bad Juicy-J rip-offs, filled with empty boasts and the same-old foreign clothes and cars, sex and drugs, etc. But I am extremely happy for Baltimore’s Sheila D, who we’ve been supporting for years. Her rapid fire feature saves Lex’s “Outer Space”, an other-wise average auto-tune track. I hope this brings Sheila some more opportunities because she’s talented and has a great message that goes along with most of her music.
Fatz Da Big Fella Feat. Freddie P – Street Life
Fatz Da Big Fella drops off his latest single from the forthcoming project Fatz Sinatra. Featuring Freddie P.
Fatz Da Big Fella – Studio (Video)
Today, we get to check out Fatz Da Big Fella’s latest visual, this time showcasing his ‘spill’ over ScHoolboy Q’s ‘Studio’. Directed by Muddy District.
Don’t forget: Big Fella’s Fatz Sinatra is still on the way.
