Beyonce’s camp is blaming exhaustion, but several media outlets are suspecting a 2nd pregnancy. I guess we’ll see…..from Associated Press:

“Beyonce is cancelling her Tuesday concert in Belgium because of dehydration and exhaustion.

In an email to The Associated Press, the singer’s publicist says Beyonce has been advised by her doctors to rest. She was scheduled to perform at the Sportpaleis in Antwerp. The show will be rescheduled and tickets can be used at that show.

Her next tour date is Wednesday at the same arena. The statement says “she is awaiting word from her doctors before making a decision.”

Beyonce, 31, launched her “Mrs. Carter World Tour” last month in Belgrade, Serbia. It wraps Aug. 5 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.”

Selfridges Announces The First Drive-Through Department Store

selfridges

From Telegraph:

The words ‘drive-thru’ usually conjure up images of McDonalds, but swish London department store Selfridges is hoping to change that with the introduction of a new service dubbed the same thing. The shop, however, won’t be offering fast food, but fast fashion.

The service, which has been dubbed the first of its kind, will enable customers to order items via Selfridges.com, and then collect them without having to leave their car.

The Evening Standard reports that a drive-thru reception is currently under construction on Edwards Mews, which sits to the rear of the large department store on Oxford Street, where customers will wait while their order is collected and brought to their vehicle by a member of staff.

“There will be a dedicated area providing the level of service you would expect from Selfridges,” said Simon Forster, the company’s multi-channel director. “It will not just be the first drive-thru service, it will be the best.”

The new service is expected to be up and running by January 2014, and other innovations such as a text message service that ensures deliveries to home addresses are made only when someone is in to receive them are also set to be launched.

Dame Dash’s Money Woes Continue, According To New Court Filing

damondash060612_1_560

From NY Daily News (where you can check out the full write-up):

Hip-hop mogul Damon Dash is so deeply in debt that he claims in court documents he faces imminent eviction from a rented mansion in suburban Carmel, N.Y.

“I am currently several months behind in paying my personal bills,” he wrote Tuesday in the 5-page filing. “For instance, I am currently over $100,000 behind in rent for the only home in which I live and at risk of being evicted.”

Dash lost a pair of multimillion-dollar Tribeca lofts to foreclosure in 2010, with $7.3 million left on the massive mortgages.

He was platinum-selling Jay-Z’s partner in Roc-A-Fella Records and the Rocawear clothing line, and once boasted in a magazine interview that he ruled a $50 million empire.

Damon Dash rode in style in 2004, but now he’s buried in debt, including huge payments to ex-wife Rachel Roy.

An acrimonious 2004 split with his old pal initially netted Dash a $20 million windfall — but eventually left the 42-year-old facing hard financial times. Failed business deals, huge tax debts and repeated legal battles quickly left his deep pockets almost empty.

Court records show Dash lost a slew of lawsuits filed by landlords, fashion designer Charlotte Ronson and a celebrity bodyguard firm.

And pass-the-buck Dash claimed one business, dubbed “Fresh to Death,” was submarined by a “poor business decision made by my partners.” It was unclear what the business, named for a trademark Dash quote, actually did.

In addition to his foreclosed homes, his leased SUV was seized in 2008 after he missed his $714.99 monthly payment.

According to his court filing, Dash faces possible criminal prosecution for non-payment of taxes in New Jersey. Documents indicate Dash also owes more than $2 million in taxes to New York state, and he conceded owing federal income taxes.

Amy Winehouse Statue To Be Erected In London

amy-winehouse-maquette-1-942x530

From The Sun:

A statue of Amy Winehouse could soon be keeping watch over her old stomping ground in Camden, after the council gave it the green light.

The life-sized tribute will stand on a first floor balcony outside the Roundhouse music venue in Chalk Farm – just yards away from the home where she died in July 2011.

It will show the Back to Black star in a short dress, leaning against the wall and looking or pointing towards the North London district.

The bronze statue – the brainchild of Amy’s father Mitch Winehouse – have now been given the green light by Town Hall planners, despite some objections.

Some fans objected to artist Scott Eaton’s designs, and conservationists told Camden Council it was too early to honour the late singer, the Camden New Journal newspaper reports.

But the memorial will go ahead – on the condition that it is not lit up at night.

Chief Keef Ordered To Pay Monthly And Back Child Support

chi-chief-keef-leaves-detention-20130314

According to TMZ, Chief Keef has been ordered to pay the mother of his daughter $2,600 a month in child support. The court ruled that Keef must also pay $500 for day care and $10,400 in back child support. There is another hearing set for next month to finalize the settlement.

Keef fathered his child at the age of 15 with an unnamed teenage girl. There have been conflicting reports about the young women’s age; TMZ originally reported that the girl is still currently in middle school making her between the ages of 13-15, but journalist Mark Konkol, who covers Chief Keef for DNAInfo Chicago, later reported that the mother is the same age as Keef.

Court documents apparently showed that the 17-year-old makes $13,000 a month, but Keef’s income could be getting a boost after some big business moves he has made recently.
