Lil’ Boosie has been progressing while incarcerated, having earned his GED in Angola State Prison. He is currently in with an 8-year sentence for drug smuggling (I think….I forget, but that’s fairly irrelevant for the point of this post). Congrats to Mr. Bad Azz on his achievement.

An arrest has been made in the shooting we posted about earlier that occurred outside of French Montana’s tour bus following a show in Philadelphia. From ABC News:
20-year-old Frank Briggs of the 300 block of East Shedaker Street has been charged with the murder of 26-year-old Jowann King.
Frank Briggs is charged with Murder, Attempted Murder, Aggravated Assault, Recklessly Endangering Another Person, Violation of the Uniform Firearms Act and related offenses.
It would appear that Lil’ Kim is under the impression that the paparazzi and related tabloids (including blogs) are taking her image (read: face) and turning it into the monstrosity that it isn’t. In addition to these accusations, she provides candids on her own, along with “proof” of some of her pics being doctored (gallery is below). Unfortunately, she fails to realize that her face is, in fact, pretty messed up at this point: her candids don’t make her look any less plastic. Didn’t stop her from ranting about it, though (from her Twitter):

Chris Brown was at Hollywood’s Emerson Theatre on Wednesday night, and while he was there he irritated the club DJ by calling her a “woman DJ”…she then responded by dropping Drake’s “Started from The Bottom” track.
In response, Brown took the mic and said, “The DJ can play this s–t, but I want you all to know, F–k Drake!”

An 82-year-old woman was tossed off a train in Miami last month for refusing to stop singing.
In cell phone video shot by a fellow passenger, the woman, Emma Anderson, is shown seated on the Metrorail, loudly singing a gospel song and slapping her thigh with rolled-up paper.
A security guard is then seen asking Anderson to stop. When Anderson refused, the guard grabbed her rolling luggage cart.
“You’re getting off here,” he can be heard telling Anderson. “Let’s go.” A struggle between the guard and Anderson ensued, and Anderson was pulled off the train, falling onto the platform at the downtown stop, about six miles from her intended destination of North Miami.
“It was not right for them to drag her off the train,” Donal Anderson, the woman’s son, told Miami’s WSVN-TV.
A spokeswoman for Miami-Dade Transit told the network that Anderson violated its noise policy, which prohibits commuters from singing, dancing and playing instruments.
The policy is outlined on the transit service’s website under the “Creating a Nuisance” section. Prohibited activities include:
Impeding or hindering bus or train operators in the performance of their duties.
Playing any radio television, cassette player, recorder or other sound-producing device or musical instrument without the use of earphones. These devices and instruments may be played along the linear park underneath the Metrorail guideway only if they are not annoying or a nuisance.
Creating a nuisance and using any insulting or obscene language.“We regret that Ms. Anderson had to eventually be escorted out,” the spokeswoman said in a statement, “but regardless of age, all passengers need to abide by rules associated with using transit.”
“Well, y’all may call it ‘noise,'” the elderly South Floridian scoffed, “but wait till Jesus comes. It’s going to be more noise in there!”
Apparently, that whole about-to-punch-the-parking-lot-attendant thing was because he was supposedly being scammed:

Weeks after he was first arrested in Turkey, a son-in-law of Osama bin Laden who once served as a spokesman for Al Qaeda will appear in a New York courtroom on Friday to face terrorism charges that could result in life imprisonment.
Sulaiman Abu Ghaith, who is married to one of Bin Laden’s daughters, Fatima, is to be charged with conspiracy to kill Americans, according to an indictment released Thursday. Justice Department officials described him as a propagandist who they believe has not had an operational role in Al Qaeda for years and did not participate in the attacks on Sept. 11, 2001, or in any plots against the United States. But one law enforcement official said that Mr. Abu Ghaith, 47, was the most senior Qaeda figure to face criminal trial in New York since America’s war against the terrorist network began.
Details about Mr. Abu Ghaith’s arrest were sketchy on Thursday, but officials said he was originally detained last month while staying in a hotel in Ankara, Turkey, after crossing the border from Iran, where he had been living for about a decade. According to one person in Washington briefed on the matter, Turkish officials rebuffed demands by the Obama administration to directly hand him over to the United States, choosing instead to deport him to Kuwait, his home country. On a stopover in Amman, Jordan, American officials took him into custody and flew him to New York.
Jordan’s spy service, the General Intelligence Directorate, is one of the Central Intelligence Agency’s closest partners in the Middle East.
Jay-Z’s 40/40 club in Atlantic City had already closed due to it’s lease running up in October; the damage from Hurricane Sandy pretty much solidified its demise. From Press of Atlantic City:
The $4 million, two-level facility co-owned by hip-hop superstar Jay-Z closed in October, said Cristin Bentz, assistant general manager for Tanger Outlets The Walk.
“Our leasing team is actively and diligently working to bring a great new tenant into the space. Stay tuned,” Bentz said.
Ron Berkowitz of Berk Communications in New York, the 40/40’s spokesman, said the club’s lease ended in October, the same month that Hurricane Sandy hit, causing tremendous water damage inside the club. The club has not been operational since then.
“There was a big hole in the roof as well,” Berkowitz said Wednesday. “With the end of the lease and with Sandy, we decided we had a great run, and it was time to move on.”
The 40/40, located at Mississippi and Atlantic avenues in front of Caesars Atlantic City, made a splash on the local nightclub scene when it opened in October 2005.

If Justin Bieber continues to trust Lil Twist with his ultra-expensive cars, then he deserves what he gets, because TMZ has learned Twist had yet another mishap, and this one involves a hit and run.
We’ve learned Lil Twist was driving Justin’s chromed-out Fisker Karma Tuesday, just after 6PM, when he crashed into cement poles protecting a wall at a San Fernando Valley liquor store … damaging the poles and badly damaging the front-end of the car.
Sources tell us … either Twist or one of his passengers told an eyewitness, “Do you know whose car this is? It’s Justin Bieber’s car.”
We’re told a few minutes later, a BMW roared up to the parking lot and the driver told Twist and the passengers, “Get all the pieces from the car [that fell] and put it in the car [the BMW].” After putting the Fisker parts in the BMW, the 3 men took off in the BMW, leaving the Fisker behind.
Sources say one of the 2 passengers was Chris Brown. His reps have not confirmed or denied.
UPDATE: I’m not sure if he did a second surprise or if this occurred on the same day, but we now have some footage of Will Smith rocking the Fresh Prince theme song for the kids.
Currently, the former Fresh Prince is in London with his son Jayden, who is there to support Justin Bieber on tour….apparently wanting to see the “real London”, Will Smith made a surprise visit to Brixton, accompanied by Labour MPs Tessa Jowell and Chuka Umunna:
Tessa Jowell, MP for neighbouring Dulwich and West Norwood, tweeted earlier to say: “Will Smith wanted to see ‘London’s Harlem’! So proud to show him the best of Brixton!” and MP for Streatham Chuka Umunna said: “Will wanted to see “real” London and it doesn’t get more real than Lambeth.”

A source close to Justin tells us the singer felt woozy during the show at the O2 Arena … and with 4 songs to go, he stumbled backstage where he collapsed.
We’re told the singer was pulled into a private room where he was treated with oxygen from emergency personnel.
Sources say Bieber was advised to go to the hospital … but declined … insisting that he “had to finish the show for his fans.”
That’s when Bieber’s rep, Scooter Braun, went on stage on told the crowd … “Justin’s got very light breath. The whole show he’s been complaining, He’s backstage with the EMTs and the doctor.”
A short time later, JB returned to the stage … completed the show … and got a HUGE ovation.
Justin was transported to the hospital directly following the show … and we’re told he’s still there receiving treatment.

There is never a good reason when a man should ever put their hands on a women, but this bitch nigga in Orlando, Florida slammed a female — face first — outside of the club. SMH.
According to Ny Post Page Six:
“Kim started feeling ill on the plane from Paris, and called friends as soon as she landed,” an insider said. “She was rushed to her doctor Tuesday night in tears. She thought she was having a miscarriage.”
Luckily she and the baby were fine, and Kardashian was sent home at 12:30 a.m. after she was examined and given the all-clear. But doctors told her she’s working and exercising too hard, and gave her a stern warning to rest.
“Kim’s not respecting her pregnancy,” says a source. “She’s running around, working out seven days a week. She’s working with two different trainers to control her weight, including Tracy Anderson and a pregnancy trainer.”
The source added that Kardashian — who’s been photographed obsessively working out while expecting — has been desperately trying to tame her figure amid public criticism that she’s ballooning.
“She’s scared that her ass is as big as a couch and is going south,” the source said. “But she is having a very rough pregnancy, and doctors have ordered her to slow down.
Unfortunately, a currently locked up Beanie Sigel will be sitting down for a bit longer: courtesy of his arrest last August, he received an additional county sentence of six to 23 months. If you recall (or not), Beanie and the driver of the vehicle he was in was arrested for carrying a shit load of drugs, along with a gun being found in the car.
Apparently, Chris Brown’s bodyguard Big Pat had a big enough altercation with his employer to cause him to have to take another flight back to the States. Some secret source spoke to the Bermuda Sun:
“I’m not sure of the details of what happened on the plane but his plane came in, got serviced and everything was finishing and they were getting ready to leave.
“Then there was a stall. The security guard got off first. He was standing outside talking to the pilot. Then Chris Brown and another guy came off.”
Our source continued: “They had to come inside to Customs. They then went outside to have a cigarette. The security guard came inside [an airport building] and said he wasn’t getting back on the plane.”
The airport worker said the man told him he had gotten into an altercation with Brown.
“Chris went back through Customs and the plane left at about 2:20pm.”
Our source said Big Pat made arrangements to leave on Jet Blue’s afternoon flight to JFK and saw him getting on the plane.
