Can’t wait to see this visual (I’m kidding). From TMZ:

Joan Rivers could barely keep a straight face when she got up close and personal with music mogul 50 Cent in NYC on Tuesday.

It what could be the makings of the new “Odd Couple,” the 78-year-old comedian even got a peck on the ear from Fiddy at a shoot for his Street King energy drink.

Forget can we tawk … can she rap?

Below, Tip explains the sound of the new record to XXL.
“It’s speaking to woman, but from a man’s perspective. People who find themselves in a situation where the woman might say she wants to part ways with the man, but the man [is] like, ‘Let’s be sensible about this. You gonna leave all this? And go where?’ That’s what he is sayin’, the gentleman is sayin’. I know there’s a lot of guys out there who find themselves in positions on all levels of life, not just as a rich man, but you have people who treat a woman the way she wants to be treated,” he continued. “There aren’t a lot of men out there who can offer that same kind of security, affection and protection; that will be kind of the song.”

Mobb Deep (@MobbDeep) On Knicks Bench Rename

Knicks rookie Iman Shumpert, renamed the Knicks bench  to Mob Deep.Prodigy and Hav spoke with ESPN on the team adopting their name.
â€œI’ve heard them play our music before at different games, maybe during the highlights on the news and certain things like that,” he told ESPNNewYork.com. “But this is the first time where the team actually called something ‘Mobb Deep.’ That’s the Knicks. That’s what’s up.” After hearing about the nickname, Prodigy told his partner Havoc, who couldn’t believe how it stuck and got so big, even being mentioned on MSG Network broadcasts. That has led to numerous texts, tweets and phone calls whenever it’s brought up in the news. “I thought it was like a one-time thing,” Havoc said, “but then I started hearing about it and people kept on telling me that they mentioned it on MSG every time they have a game.”

Dame Dash On Curren$y(@CurrenSy_Spitta) Lawsuit

Dame Dash hasresponded to the lawsuit filed by Curren$y, in which the rapper claims the Dame Dash has released his music without his consent. Dame’s lawyer, Joshua E. Seidman spoke on his behalf:

“My client’s initial reaction to the lawsuit was that of surprise, particularly in light of Curren$y’s numerous statements that the ‘Muscle Car Chronicles’ would be released by BluRoc. On March 15, 2012, the plaintiffs appeared in Federal Court to argue for a preliminary injunction seeking to enjoin my client from the continued distribution of the ‘Muscle Car Chronicles’. The plaintiffs’ application was denied in open Court by Federal Judge Andrew Carter and the album was permitted to remain available through iTunes and other retailers. While the situation remains ongoing, we are hopeful that an amicable resolution can be reached. My client wishes Curren$y the best in all of his future career endeavors. However, he has expressed a deep concern with respect to the manner in which the artist’s attorney and manager have conducted themselves. He sincerely hopes that Curren$y is not being misled or pressured into making unwise decisions, such as the filing of what appears to be a potentially frivolous litigation.”

Curren$y (@CurrenSy_Spitta) Sues Dame Dash Over Releasing Unauthorized Music

Wow. From TMZ:

Rapper Curren$y’s music is NOT to be trifled with — and to prove it … the MC is suing famed music producer Damon Dash, claiming he is hocking several Curren$y albums without permission.

Curren$y filed the lawsuit against Jay-Z’s old biz partner and former co-owner of Roc-A-Fella Records — claiming he and Dash tried to negotiate an agreement to release music together in 2010 … but the deal never materialized.

Curren$y claims Dash released two of his albums in 2010 — but the two still couldn’t reach an agreement … so Curren$y signed with Warner Bros. in January 2011.

But according to the lawsuit, Damon was unmoved — and CONTINUED to release Curren$y’s music despite the new WB contract, which gave WB exclusive rights to Curren$y’s jams.

Now, Curren$y is demanding the producer quit profiting off him in any way. Curren$y also wants $1.5 million in damages.

But Damon fired back at the accusations with his own response — claiming, he has the right to release the albums in question because he was given permission. What’s more — Damon says Curren$y stabbed him in the back, reneging on his agreement with Damon and signing with WB instead.

A judge has yet to rule on the case.
