Boxing News: Undefeated Floyd Mayweather Jr. will take on the welterweight champion Victor Ortiz on Sept 17, 2011!
Undefeated Floyd Mayweather Jr. will take on the welterweight champion Victor Ortiz on Sept 17, 2011! Details of pay-per-view site and location haven’t been finalized yet. Ortiz (29-2-2, 22 KOs), 24, moved up (from junior welterweight) and claimed the welterweight title belt in April with a score-card win over Andre Berto. Ortiz was also the 2008 ESPN.com prospect of the year. Mayweather (41-0, 25 KO’s), 34, is a great fighter at going the distance, so it will be an interesting full length fight. Check out their pre-fight trash talk, courtesy espn:
“I am ready to return to the ring and give my fans a fantastic night of boxing by fighting the best out there and for me, that is Victor Ortiz,†Mayweather said. “He is the current champion and an extremely talented fighter who showed amazing skills, and heart, in his last performance against Andre Berto.â€
“At this stage of my career, these are the challenges I look for, a young, strong, rising star looking to make his mark in boxing by beating me. Like the rest of my opponents, he is going to try to prove that he can beat me. I commend him for accepting the fight, but on Sept. 17, Ortiz is just going to be another casualty, the 42nd one who tried and failed. Trust me, I will be ready.â€
“I respect Mayweather because he has been a champion for many years and I know he will be ready, but so will I,†Ortiz said. “I’m a strong fighter and I have worked really hard to silence my critics. I’m a world champion for a reason and I am not going to let go of my title any time soon. This is going to be a great fight, but I will remain a world champion for many years to come.â€

Kanye At Big Sean Listening Session
“I apologize I was a little bit late, but I—I had a throne to watch and shit…â€
Kanye snuck through the back door and smiled like a proud dad last night at Big Sean’s listening session in NYC. After Ye’ praised his mentor and producer No I.D., he publicly lauded his protege for the first time.

Bad Meets Evil (Eminem x Royce Da 5’9) – A Kiss (Lady Gaga & Justin Bieber Diss)
Uh oh. Produced by Bangladesh. From Huffington Post:
In his heyday, Eminem was known for his sensitive tales of hard knock living on the inside of his albums — and his boastful, explicit callouts in his mega singles. Now that he’s back to his Grammy-winning best, Slim Shady has slipped back into his diss track ways.
In his new single, “A Kiss,” a leaked track off his “Hell: The Sequel” record with Bad Meets Evil partner Royce Da 5’9, Eminem goes straight for the pop culture jugular, dissing on Lady Gaga by dredging up the old, ridiculous rumors that she is a hermaphrodite.
“Tell Lady Gaga she can quit her job at the post office/ She’s still a male lady,” he raps. “Wouldn’t f*ck her with her d*ck/ You heard it/ The verdict’s in.”
Well then. Of course, with the number one album in the world right now, Gaga probably doesn’t mind what Shady has to say.
The rapper also takes on Justin Bieber in the song, saying that “evil seeps through him,” and name checks Katy Perry — though he’s much friendlier in his address to her, to say the least.

Just Spotted This Message On Odd Future’s Tumblr
Damn, It’s Been Exactly A Year Since You Left. A Whole Year. 365 Fucking Days. It’s Seems Just Like Yesterday We Made This Stupid Ass Video Just To Put Up Because It Was Fun, With No Expectations Or Anything. Now It’s Different, People Expect Different Things And It Sucks The Fun Out Of It, Sucks That You Have To Come Back Home To So Much Pressure….But For That Year We Worked Hard As Fuck To Make Sure You Had A Home To Come To. You Clearly Arent Reading This, Which Means I’m Typing This To No One In Reality But, You’re Here…..Miss You Nigga, We All Do.
