K-Foxx Vs. Nicki Minaj? Young Money Vs. Hot 97?

This all came from Illseed, so give him the credit if this is indeed true…

So, the other day Drake had a show in NYC at Radio City Music Hall….epic show, I bet. Guess who wanted to go to the show…K-Foxx! So, my sources tell me that K-Foxx hit up Mack Maine, president of Young Money, for a ticket. I heard all this was said on the radio too, by the way…I just didn’t hear it. Maine told her that since she had beef with Nicki, she couldn’t attend the show. I guess the whole Hot 97 team is now unhappy with this development. The only thing that K-Foxx refused to say on the radio was how the beef started. I can help with that….

A few months or weeks ago…K-Foxx of the Hot 97 morning show did an interview with Nicki Minaj for MTV. Well..it sounds innocent enough right? Well, from what I heard, it didn’t go well at all. As the interview went on, Nicki was reportedly acting hostile to K-Foxx, who is the female leg of the morning team. Well, nobody really understood why Nicki may be that way, because it was all a very basic interview. Welllllll…it seems like the Hot 97 morning show had some jokes against Nicki that she didn’t appreciate. I’m not sure of the nature of the jokes, but it would seems that they were offensive to Nicki. ANYWAY, K-Foxx didn’t like the hostility and she then took her tone with Nicki and this was to the dismay of the MTV producers, my sources say. And it was all downhill from there. The interview, which was supposed to be for TV, was SCRAPPED. I heard it may have been totally destroyed! And thus the beef begins…

Drake And/Or Bodyguard Apparently Got Into It With A Fan

Wow…saw this yesterday but didn’t think anything serious of it… ::shrug::

After the show, two fans claim that they were merely showing their appreciation for Drizzy when the rapper and his bodyguard got physical, pushing them away and spurring an altercation that sent one of them to the hospital.

“Before I got to say his name, [his bodyguard] punched me in the mouth and I fell back,” said Jeremis Perez Soriano, who ended up with six stitches on the left side of his mouth. “These are the same people that are buying your CDs. You shouldn’t treat us like that.”

His female friend, who was first pushed away by Drake, maintains that there was no physical contact on their behalf. “He never put his hands on Drake, he never put his hands on the security guard. He never even made a fist to hit the security guard for the security guard to come and hit him that hard,” she said. “Drake went to get on his bus and he flicked me off in my face and was like, ‘F you, you’re nothing.’”

Soriano is currently seeking legal advice and plans to file suit against the hip-hop star. He says he doesn’t want much, only reimbursement for his medical bills.

Paul Wall Hits Fan With Mic, Issues Apology Through XXL

Well damn, over a middle finger (allegedly)? Seen on XXL:

“I want to sincerely apologize to my San Antonio Fans as well as Paul Wall Fans worldwide for allowing myself to become distracted during my recent performance at the Low Low Car Show in San Antonio, Texas,” he said. “My goal as a live performer is to always provide my fans with a great show experience and I apologize for temporarily taking my eyes off that goal. We all learn from experiences both good and bad. I will learn and grow from this incident and be a better person, artist and performer as a result.”

The ‘Deuces’ Remix Will Feature—–?!

I missed the Ustream session (though we’ll see about getting it posted). Spotted this on Rap-Up:
Those watching Chris Brown’s Ustream session got a sneak peek at the guests featured on his all-star remix to “Deuces,” and it’s one hell of a lineup.
The Tyga and Kevin McCall-assisted single from his Fan of a Fan mixtape currently sits at No. 1 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and its star-studded remix will probably give it even more life. “I’mma let ya’ll know a little secret. We got the ‘Deuces’ remix coming,” Breezy told his fans during Monday’s Ustream chat. “‘Deuces’ remix features myself, Fabolous, T.I., Drake, Kanye West, and André 3000.”
The track was still awaiting a verse from Yeezy and could arrive as early as this week. “I’m actually supposed to be getting Kanye’s verse any minute now,” said Chris. “I got everybody else’s very ready, so we’re waiting right now. We’re gonna put it together and have it to ya’ll either by next week or this week, probably Friday. I ain’t making no promises.”
A video is already being discussed. “We’re gonna shoot the video for that. The video’s gonna be sick.”
The remix to “Deuces” may be included on Chris Brown’s fourth album F.A.M.E. (Forgiving All My Enemies), which will feature the pop single “Yeah 3x” and Polow Da Don-produced “Calypso,” plus much more. “We got a gang of records,” added Breezy.

Mos Def With G.O.O.D. Music?

So apparently Mos Def is officially (at least we kind of figured this for a while, anyways) with G.O.O.D. Music. From this months XXL Magazine:

Just as Kanye returned to his roots to scoop up Common, he recently recruited his buddy Brooklyn rapper/singer/actor Mos Def into the GOOD Music fold. Long regarded as a formidable talent by underground devotees and mainstream fans alike, Mos appeared on “Two Words” (from Kanye’s 2005 The College Dropout) and “Drunk and Hot Girls” (from KW’s 2007 Graduation). Since his 1999 solo debut, Black on Both Sides, Mos has increasingly been pushed — whether by generational choices or self-exile — to the fringes of indie, alternative hip hop. Maybe it will take Kanye to reign him in.
