First off: big congrats to Gervonta “Tank” Davis, who shook his opponent to the point of temporary blindness. Second: it’s amazing to see how everyone came out to D.C.’s Capital One Arena to make the event as important as it was, and it’s hopeful that there will be more to come in the future. Five People Arrested During Chinx Tribute Videoshoot In Brooklyn

From New York Daily News:

Wendy Miranda, 30, who was in the video, was also busted when a .32-caliber revolver was recovered near her, cops said.

Coke Boy Records filmed the video, which paid homage to rapper Chinx, who was shot dead during a drive-by in Queens on May 17.

Other stars seen at the set — which drew a crowd of 150 — included Noreaga, Juelz Santana and Charlotte Hornets guard Lance Stephenson.

Cops learned of the filming from community residents who reported seeing guns and drugs on the set, a police source said.

At first, it looks like Kanye West just decided to stroll into a Mexican restaurant in Jersey City for their Wolf Juice open mic series, just because…it turns out that one of the event’s participants, 17-year-old Jahmila Sandifer (also known as Jay Hype), is a family friend and was their to perform her track ‘K.O.W.‘ (which stand for Kanye’s full name). That’s pretty cool.

This past weekend, Chris Brown and (Puff Daddy/Al B. Sure’s kid) Quincy hosted a celebrity kickball game, all in the name of charity: the proceeds for the event went to the organizations Best Buddies and Symphonic Love.

Divided between ‘Team Quincy’ and ‘Team Black Pyramid’, the game (which took place at the Glendale Sports Complex) boasted big names including Omarion, Kendall Jenner, DJ Khaled, Paris Hilton, Jamie Foxx, Kevin McCall, Amber Rose, Kylie Jenner, The Game, Keke Palmer and Ne-Yo.
