RESPECT: Vic Mensa Took Part In Chicago Protests Over Killing Of Laquan McDonald

A year ago, 17-year-old Laquan McDonald was killed by Chicago police officer Jason Van Dyke; recently, the footage was finally ordered released to the public, which you can see below:

Naturally, this set the emotions of the city on fire, and many took to the streets of Chicago in protest — one of which was rising star Vic Mensa. Below, you can check out footage of Mensa taking part in the protests.

Jeezy – Knob Broke (Video)

He may have just dropped a new album last week, Church In These Streets, but rather than give us a visual off that project, today Jeezy opts for a little dose of #FlashbackFriday with a music video for “Knob Broke.” As fans of the Snowman, or Pastor Young as he’s going by these days, probably know this record first appeared on Jeezy’s It’s Tha World mixtape back in 2012. The Jahlil Beats-produced banger still goes though.

T-Pain Debuts New Song In D.C. (Video)

Recently, T-Pain was in D.C. for an intimate concert at NPR’s headquarters…during the show, the Floridian artist broke out a new track titled ‘Officially Yours’, which is quite possibly the most emotionally-charged ballad that he’s done (?).
