Oddisee – Belong To The World (Video)

D.C.’s Oddisee drops off a new visual for ‘Belong To The World’, which is taken from his project The Good Fight. The song and clip is expained below:

“Belong to the World” is a song about making a transition from feeling like i didnt fit it to anything, into understanding we belong to everything. It is a song about understanding that the world is bigger than the small things we want to be a part of.

Director Zack Kashkett worked to provide a sense of isolation and introspection that often accompanies the physical and metaphorical idea of being inside and alone juxtaposed against spacious shots of Oddisee within the larger world outside. The sense of isolation goes away when the scope gets large enough and the world’s size becomes encompassing not enclosing. This is similar to the sense one gets when they realize they are part of something greater.

Shy Glizzy Arrested In Maryland (VIDEO)

We know literally nothing, but social media is spreading the above video that appears to show Shy Glizzy getting arrested in Montgomery Country. No idea on when the clip was even filmed (hell, he could have already been freed at this point).

UPDATE: New clip below. Newer reports state that 1. the charges may have been related to disorderly conduct (ie. when a celebrity causes a crowd for being famous), and 2. the incident actually happened yesterday, and Shy has since posted bail.

Juicy J ft. G.O.D – Breathe (Video)

This might be one of the first times in a while that I’ve heard Juicy J get conscious or political on a record. The Memphis veteran has always been a well-spoken, talented artist, but his music isn’t known for themes like this. That changes today with his song “Breath” featuring G.O.D and produced by 808 Mafia. J and G.O.D address police brutality, violence and racism over a catchy trap beat. Worldstar had the video exclusive. Juicy J and Three 6 used to talk a lot about police corruption back when Project Pat was locked up. More music like this, please.
