Curren$y and Alchemist are BACK in a big way teaming up once again for a new joing project, “Carrollton Heist.” Considered to be the follow up to the 2011 collaborative “Covert Coup” mixtape, “Carrollton Heist” features 12 records instead of 10 and includes features from Lil Wayne, Action Bronson & Styles P.
No more wresting for Alchemist, Migos and Mac Miller, as can be heard on their new collaboration ‘Jabroni’.
Alchemist brings us some Retarded Alligator Beats, which also comes with one feature from Action Bronson (for the hell of it, we guess). You can stream below via Spotify.
Two of our favorite producer/rappers link up with Rockstar for a compilation album inspired by “GTA V.” This fourteen-track project features the two on the beats (and rapping as their duo Gangrene) alongside Action Bronson, Danny Brown, Freddie Gibbs, Ab-Soul, A$AP Ferg, Killer Mike, Curren$y, MC Eiht, Vybez Kartel and a bunch of others. Los went out West to link up with the Alchemist for some new music. In this video, he freestyles for a looong time over some soulful production. It’ll be great to hear what comes out of this session. Hopefully Los will have an RCA-backed album out soon.
The Good Book is still on the way, and with the latest leak featuring Action Bronson, Domo Genesis and Blu, it’s looking to be a great project.

So clothing designer Dr. Romanelli worked with Coca-Cola to release a line of vintage-Coke inspired clothes. The Alchemist was also recruited to work some magic on old Coke commercials, weaving them into a series of small beats, including a full song featuring Action Bronson around the 3:30 mark. Corporate bullshit aside, this mix (and the clothes) are pretty amazing.
