Slow Sundays 6/23/13: Songs from Bucky Malone and Wale

image (3)
Since the summer seems especially slow and humid right now, its time for another Slow Sundays, featuring a mainstream track and song from our friends in the Fa$tlife crew. This has two tracks as usual. First there is a chopped version of Wale’s “Bad Remix” done by Mike G of Odd Future. Second we have Bucky Malone’s Juice slowed by the fool Mikey Wyllin (from his Boy from the Road album). Enjoy

Slow Sundays: Drake & Bucky Malone

that boy from the road

So Bucky hit me with a chopped and screwed track from his latest project, That Boy From the Road. So it looks like Slow Sundays is starting back up. The other track is Drake’s hit “Started from the Bottom”. Stream and DL below.

Slow Sundays with Bucky Malone (@buckymalone703) and Chris Beatz (@ChrisBeatz703)

Another slow, rainy Sunday means two new chopped and screwed tracks. The Fa$tlife crew comes through with slow versions of “Creepin” by Bucky Malone and “They Don’t Know” by Chris Beatz. Both of these were chopped by Mikey Wyllin (who just became an uncle, congrats). Both were also produced by Chris Beatz. What “They Don’t Know” is that Chris Beatz raps too. Check out both tracks below.

SoLo (@Solo_Misfit) + Bucky Malone (@BuckyMalone703) – Coolin (prod. @ThaRealNiceGuy)

The Fa$tlife crew releases another video (edited by Steezasaurous). SoLo and the homie Bucky Malone go in over a beat that only they would pick. The vocals are reminiscent of Bone Thugs (while still staying unique) with production that sounds like a Zelda video game. This is definitely unlike a lot of the music out there right now (in a good way). You can get the mp3 for “Coolin” below too.

Another Slow Sunday for chopped and screwed shit. I’m late as hell on this one but here is two slowed down songs for you all. The first is from Bucky Malone’s Purple Thunder Adventures Tape and the second is Chief Keef’s hit “3hunna”. Check them out below.

Purple Jams Pt.3 (Bucky Malone @BuckyMalone703 & Waka Flocka)

Another Sunday means some more chopped and screwed songs. Bucky Malone comes through with a slowed down version of his song “Backwood”. I’ve also thrown up Sir Chopps’ screwed mix of Waka Flocka’s hit from last year, “Grove Street Party”. Enjoy.

Purple Jams – Chopped and Screwed Songs for a Slow Sunday Part 2 (Bucky Malone & D’Angelo)

Another Slow Sunday deserves some more chopped and screwed jams. Bucky Malone came through with another one of his songs chopped and screwed and I have a D’Angelo song that is surprisingly good when slowed up. Enjoy

SkyyHiRy (@SkyyHiRY) & Bucky Malone (@buckymalone703) – Spur III (EP)

VA’s Bucky Malone and his homie SkyyHiRy (pronounced Sky-high-Rye) just dropped this EP today. It’s pretty different from a lot of music I’ve been hearing lately. The production is highlighted by odd samples, backwards loops with a golden age/trap sound.  SkyyHiRy produced all of the tracks The lyrics are above-average, the rhymes aren’t always complex but both rappers can flow well. Ry and Bucky sometimes go back and forth, which is always good to hear on a collaboration project. I could listen to this EP on repeat and I probably will. Check out the EP, you can stream and download it below.
