When life gets UGLY, U. GOTTA. LUV. YAHSELF.

D.C. Rap veteran (and one of the most slept-on artists, period) is back with a new project titled The U.G.L.Y. EP, which sees production from Grussle (added to that, Jab The Future co-produced on a cut while Aleem Bilal handles mixing duties).

STREAM: Lil Dream – ‘SwipeRixh’ (EP)

If there’s anyone that’s not getting the exposure/credit he deserves right now, it’s Lil Dream. The D.C. artist and producer has held a level of consistency that few have been able to match: case in point, his new EP SwipeRixh, a 5-track project that sees him handling all production (save for Good Intent‘s assistance with “Retrograde”). Jake Sinatra and Poppa Zan also join as additional features.

LHK Presents E Major & UPT Vido Feat. Wolde – “Gettin Money” (Video)

The DMV continues to make major strides in Hip-Hop. For much of this decade, Loud Cru have been banging heads with hard-hitting Trap records and melodic, infectious cuts perfect for any party vibe. Since then, they have further expanded into the super-collective Loud Hustle Kartel, which consists of top tier talent in Uptown DC and beyond.

For their latest, E Major and UPT Vido take the reigns for the melodic cut “Getting’ Money,” which features Wolde and sees production from E Major himself. The accompanying visual for the track – shot and edited by Sir Shahly – sees the entire crew vibing in the city, a perfect parallel for the single.
