Rae Sremmurd are back with another video for ‘No Type’, a pretty good follow-up to ‘No Flex Zone’.
Ciara & Future Reportedly Back Together
Spotted on TMZ:
Future and Ciara didn’t stay apart for long … and it’s all because Ciara feels strongly about her son needing his father around 24/7.
Sources close to Future tell TMZ … he and Ciara are living together again — and trying to make things work between them — so Future can help take care of their 4-month-old son, Future Zahir.
Ciara must be willing to overlook the past … since she was the one who claimed Future cheated on her while he was on tour — and then broke off their engagement last month.
We’re told Ciara wasn’t interested in a shared parenting situation … saying she believes Future’s a good father and that it’s best for their son if his dad’s there.

We’re Back
We quietly disappeared for a while. Actually, our website got hacked, we took it down, Google temporarily blacklisted us, etc. Anyways, we’re back now and we’re trying to catch up on all the music we missed. If you see a song that has little or no description, that’s why. We’d like to keep you posted but we also must catch up quickly. Thank you for your patience.
Mystikal Wants Off Of Cash Money
Simply put, it looks like the New Orleans emcee is having the same problems that made Busta Rhymes leave the label Birdman built. Check out the above interview.
Killer Mike Writes Essay About Michael Brown, Police Violence
We are human beings. We deserve to be buried by our children not the other way around. No matter how u felt about black people look at this mother and look at this father and tell me as a human being how u cannot feel empathy for them. How can u not feel sympathy for their pain and loss. These are not ‘THOTS, niggas/niggers, hoes, Ballers, Divas.’ These two people are parents. They are humans that produced a child and loved that child and that child was slaughtered like Game and left face down as public spectacle while his blood drained down the street.
Look at the pain of this mother; look into her eyes. Look at the man behind her. Look at that father made helpless and hurt that he cud not defend his seed. Don’t debate. Don’t insert your agenda. Save me the bullshit Black On Black Crime speech and look at these two Noble creatures called humans and look at what govt-sanctioned murder has done. It has robbed them of their humanity and replaced it with pain and shame, suffering and hurt.
I don’t care if others rioted or why. I don’t care that ballplayers and rappers are what they shud be. I care that we as humans care as much about one another more. I care we see past Class, race and culture and honor the humanity that unites our species. Stop talking and LOOK at these PEOPLE. LOOK at these HUMANS and stand with them against a system allows a Human PIG to slaughter their child. Forgive any typos love and respect u all.

Kanye West – All Day (Snippet)

So after a short clip of an alleged new Kanye song leaked recently, someone uploaded a recording of part of the song (which he also mentioned in a GQ interview) playing live for two minutes. Surely someone at Def Jam is getting fired. Look for a screen cap of producer Mike Dean’s comment below the snippet.
UPDATE: We removed the stream (which was already removed on it’s own, anyway). Hopefully the official release will drop, soon. Continue to enjoy Mike Dean’s wrath below.

Lil Durk Receives Probation On Gun Charges
Spotted on NBC Chicago:
Rapper Lil Durk will not serve any additional jail time after pleading guilty Tuesday to two weapons charges stemming from a 2013 arrest.
Durk D. Banks, 21, was arrested June 5, 2013, in the 7200 block of South Green Street after police responded to a report of a person with a gun and saw Banks with a handgun, Sun-Times Media reported previously.
Banks, of Melrose Park, was less than a month away from completing his parole for a 2012 conviction for aggravated unlawful use of a weapon when he was arrested.
During a hearing Tuesday before Judge Joseph G. Kazmierski Jr., Banks pleaded guilty to one felony count of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and one count of felony possession of a firearm, court records show.
He was sentenced to 18 months probation and 50 hours of community service, records show. Kazmierski ordered Banks to serve the first 30 days of his probation in jail, but gave him credit for time he already served, meaning Banks will not have to spend any more time behind bars.
Banks praised his legal team in a message posted to Twitter, saying “S/o Sam Adams JR great lawyer to have on your side il take probation anyday I don’t smoke or drink anyway.”
The Chicago-based rapper is signed to Def Jam Records, and is expected to release his debut album later this year.
Lucci ft. Skooly – I Wonder Why (RHQ Diss)
Skooly and Lucci respond to Rich Homie Quan’s diss track as promised. Side note; even though like previous instances, Skooly and Quan are affiliated and Lucci is linked to TIG, the same managment company as Rich Homie…confusing. Either way, it sounds like RHQ loses again, Lucci and Skooly killed just like Johnny Cinco.

Mike Will Made It Signs Group Two-9
Mike WiLL Made It has officially recruited JUKEBOX:DOPECONTENT favorites Two-9 (who also hail from Atlanta), signing them to his Ear Druma Records roster. He speaks on the group’s inclusion into his Interscope Records imprint below.
There hasn’t been a collective of creative coming out of Atlanta like Two-9 since Outkast. They have great energy, make dope music, and they’re always trying to push things forward, not box themselves in. I respect their art, their grind, and their whole movement, and I’m excited to help them take their brand to the next level.

Lil Durk Explains What Started Tyga Beef
Courtesy of Vlad TV:
Lil durk sat down with VladTV and explained exactly what started his beef with Tyga, saying it was a lyric he wrote about Tyga’s girlfriend Blac Chyna that set the feud in motion, the line being:
“What do strippers swallow? Maliah, Blac Chyna, just don’t tell Tyga.”
Durk says Tyga heard the track, asked him to change the line, and then made plans to collaborate. Tyga kept checking in to see if the line had been changed before actually sending over his verse, so Durk thought Tyga was only trying to bamboozle him into changing the lyric. Tyga never sent the verse, so Durk never changed the line. The two haven’t spoken since, although Durk insists he has no problems with Tyga at this point.
The Chicago rapper then explains the concept of “sneak dissing,” saying it’s basically talking negatively about someone when that person isn’t around, with Durk remarking that he’s had to deal with it with people he thought were friends.
Durk’s Signed To The Streets 2 is also out now.
BREAKING: Meek Mill Arrested, Has Probation Revoked
Meek Mill is now sentencing to 3-6 months in prison for apparently violating his probation. As spotted on Philly.com:
Just a week away from his “Homecoming Tour” concert at Temple University’s Liacouras Center, hip hop artist Meek Mill was sent to prison Friday for three to six months for violating his probation on a 2009 drug and gun case.
“Sir, I didn’t want to do this but you made me do this,” said Philadelphia Common Pleas Court Judge Genece E. Brinkley. “After all the years I tried to get you on the right track.”
The Philadelphia-born Mill, whose real name is Robert Williams, and his lawyer Gary Silver, tried for almost four hours to convince Brinkley not to send him back to prison.
Mill, 27, said his rising career in hip hop has supported him, his mother, sister and son and other friends and placed his monthly expenses at $80,000 to $90,000.
“It took me 15 years to get here and this will be extremely damaging to my life,” Mill told the judge.
A dozen members of Mill’s posse in the gallery seemed stunned as sheriff’s deputies led him out of the courtroom and into custody to be transported to the city prison complex in Northeast Philadelphia.

Ab-Soul – These Days (Album Stream)

TDE’s weirdest dropped his new album today. Upon first listen, this project appears a bit more Poppy and lackluster than what we’re used to from the guy, but come to your own conclusions. Features and beats from the rest of TDE, J. Cole, Rick Ross, Lupe, JMSN, Danny Brown, Action Bronson, Mac Miller, etc. Purchase here.
The Weeknd – Often

The Weeknd drops a new track for the first time in…a while. Despite a catchy hook and an interesting, sample-driven beat this track sounds like terrible pop nonsense to me.
Lil Durk – 0 To 300 (Freestyle) (Game & Tyga Diss)
Lil Durk goes in over “0 To 100”. RIP OTF NuNu.
Young Thug Apparently Signed With Lyor Cohen’s 300 Label
I called this a while ago, when Thug was caught up in that whole Atlantic/1017 debacle. Kevin Liles, an A&R for Lyor Cohen’s 300 record label, did a RevoltTV interview and explained Thug’s situation. If you didn’t know, 300 is an “independent” label with distribution from Atlantic. Run by two former major-label big wigs (Cohen and Todd Muscowitz), the label is smaller, has Google backing ($5 Million) and is geared more towards digital “content” than the old record label system.
