Tabi Bonney is back with a new single titled ‘Above It’, produced by Double-O. You can purchase the single here.
Goo Glizzy – Gustavo (Mixtape)
Is this the year Goo Glizzy finally takes his well-deserved rise to the big-time? Gustavo might be the tape to do it. Only amazing tracks, a wide array too, not just “street” tracks, everything…Only great producers; AB The Pro, J5, Big Moon, Tweeze, ILL Wonka, Rick Flare and others. Enough said, just listen
Rezt – Kirk (Prod. by Dolan)
We’ve been keeping our eyes out for new music from Rezt for a while. After a lot of missed releases, it’s nice to finally catch some crank (relatively) soon after it comes out. It’s produced by Dolan so you know “Kirk” bumps. Yes, that’s “Kirk” as in “Kirkin’ Kirk out”, etc. And “Kirk” he does.
G Star Giorgio – Trenches ft. Fucci Santino, Lul Rock
Giorgio and the G Star Boyz drop another heater. Tape soon? Hopefully?
30 Glizzy & DF Gizzle – Twin Glockz (Mixtape)
Clearly we’re sleeping because 30 and Gizzle dropped this fire tape with Hoodrich Keem two weeks ago and it should have been on here days ago. No features, all killer tracks, all repeatable. Don’t sleep like we did.
IhsAn Bilal – I Believed in Love (Video)
Produced by Jerome “JS” Smith.
“I Believed in Love” is a heartfelt music visual about how quickly a great relationship can slip through your fingers when you put your career first.
Always put love 1st.
Logic Announces New Album, ‘AfricAryaN’
UPDATE: Logic speaks more on the album title below.
It looks like Maryland’s own Logic is jumping into the race conversation with a new album, titled ‘AfricAryaN’…and we already have an idea of what to expect.
Above lies Logic’s recent sit-down with Dan Harmon for his podcast, which sees him spitting some unreleased bars that delve into his own racial make-up (he’s mixed Black and White, by the way):
I feel the Aryan in my blood is scarier than a Blood / Been lookin’ for holy water, now I’m prayin’ for a flood / It feel like time passin’ me by slower than a slug … / But my beautiful black brothers wanna act like I’m adopted / Go back in time to when my ni**a daddy impregnated my cracker momma and stopped it / Somebody pinch me / Black man screaming, trying to convince me / I’m not black so why the white man wanna lynch me?”
Logic explains what "AfricAryaN" the album will be about, and what it means to him. Watch this! pic.twitter.com/xFgLG6SthW

Alfred Duncan Feat. Dev Duff – They Call Me Daddy (Video)
As we continue to read and see about the lives behind #ForeverDuncan, we also start to see music that as fans we may have missed. Case in point: this Summer, Black Boo (now going as Alfred The MC) released a track and visual for ‘They Call Me Daddy’, which features Dev Duff. You can enjoy that above.
Alfred Duncan aka Alfred The MC aka Black Boo is the Lead Vocalist of Mambo Sauce has finally released a single to his upcoming project. Very powerful message about and for Fathers.
STREAM/DOWNLOAD: SOJA – Live In Virginia
We might as well be honest: as (mainly) purveyors of Hip-Hop, we didn’t truly dive into the sounds of Virginia Reggae/Rock band SOJA until after we learned that Alfred The MC (aka Mambo Sauce’s Black Boo) had a dope collaboration with them (we also learned that Mambo Sauce had toured with the band year’s ago).
Having created music since the turn of the century, you can find their catalog (and other cool stuff) via their official website; below, we’ve provided last week’s concert album release SOJA: Live In Virginia, which features the aforementioned Alfred The MC collaboration ‘Promises And Pills’ (via iTunes/Apple Music).
Lil Tay Ft. Big Flock – Voice Of The Streets (Video)
Honestly, the reason I haven’t posted this Lil Tay and Big Flock video sooner is because I’ve been busy cranking it nonstop. Check out their “Voice Of The Streets” video above, shot by Fool with the Camera.
Fat Trel – Broccoli (Remix)
Fat Trel tries his hand with D.R.A.M. and Lil Yachty’s collaboration.
Matt McGhee – Carnival (Video)
Produced by Andy McMann and taken from the Maryland emcee’s upcoming mixtape Under New Management.
P-Wild – Take Em To Church (Feat. Fat Trel)
Not sure how we missed this, but a month ago saw P-Wild releasing a new heater titled ‘Take Em To Church’, featuring Fat Trel.
Lambo Anlo – You Like That
Back from LA, Lambo drops a Skins-inspired, football/turn-up song. I assume everyone gets the Kirk Cousins reference.
MojoU4L – Sushi Bar EP ((Prod. by XannyPacquiao)
Mojo and producer XannyPacquiao collaborated on the full EP Sushi Bar that dropped last month. We were sleeping but better late than never because Mojo is steadily dropping heat. Check the EP out as well as some bonus tracks below.
Iceberg Lo – Hunnids (Video)
Ice aka Iceberg Lo aka Blue Hefner dropped a new video a few weeks ago while in New York City. This visual is for the bumpin’ “Hunnids.” Shot by RedEyeFilms, produced by Kidd Slopes.
IN THE STUDIO CONVO: A$HY BLACK THUG and MLHAVS & STNKMNR (Video)
SUNKA Productions’ MLHAVS & STNKMNR sit down with new artist A$hy Black Thug for a three-part interview, which sees him speaking on a variety of topics — his music, H Street Festival, musical influences and more. Additional clips are below.
Solo Feat. Lightshow & 3ohBlack – With My Glock (Video)
Solo links with Lightshow and 3ohBlack for the hard=hitting new track ‘With My Glock’. Visual above, courtesy of Fool With The Camera.
Biness Man E – Above The Law (Prod. Enduhstreatz)
In lieu of everything going on in the country right now, Biness Man E drops off ‘Above The Law’, which sees the D.C. artist speaking on police brutality and more. Produced by Enduhstreatz.
30 Glizzy – Gucci Wit The Snakes (Feat. DF Gizzle)
Damn, 30 and Gizzle are already doing numbers on the new single “Gucci Wit The Snakes”, produced by Doughboy. 30 has been dropping fire singles like crazy lately. Mixtape soon?
DC White – Dinner With The Plug (Mixtape)
After much anticipation DC White drops his latest release, Dinner With The Plug. Think of this project as less mixtape and more solo album, with White appearing on most of the songs solo. The only features are from the very talented Lil’ Duke. Beats from London on the Track, Trauma Tone, DB Bantino, Stibb, Chophouze and others. Check this out and expect all bangers.
Binessman E Feat. Hot Rizzle & Richie P – Let Me See It
D.C.’s own Binessman E is back with a crazy new single titled ‘Let Me See It’, which features Likeblood cohort Hot Rizzle and fellow Uptown emcee Richie P (aka Starboi). Stream/download the track below via Apple Music/iTunes.
