J. Cole recently spoke with Billboard and made it pretty clear that he knew what he was getting into. Some memorable quotes from the piece:

Kanye West returns to the stage to perform his second new song which we all heard last night when he premiered the track on 66 buildings across the world. Yeezus is set to drop on June 18th.
I’m a little blown that we have to wait until December to see this movie, but up top is a little preview from the new Anchorman film (which has appearences from rap stars Drake & Kanye West).

1st song is new. aggressive, driving drum based beat. sounds like a rock song almost. ye rapping with distortion. he screams at the beginning and end. studded leather jacket. AND RED YEEZYS. hook was like “4am in the morning, im zonin, keep it 300”

Tomorrow night, Kanye West will take stage on SNL to perform two new cuts from his sixth yet to be titled album.
KISS FM UK is reporting that Def Jam relayed to them June 17th for the release of Kanye’s new album in the UK and June 18th in the U.S. I can’t wait for the new album.
Kanye will return this Saturday as the musical guest (and a few takes with host Ben Affleck) for Saturday Night Live‘s season finale.
In the clip above — where you can barely see anything but can hear pretty well — Kanye had this to say about the Paparazzi and his SNL show:
“One thing about me. I’m the worst kinda, worst kinda, worst kinda celebrity…because all I do is make real music. All I do is sit in the studio and make real, real shit. and that’s it. That’s motherfucking it. That’s motherfucking it. So I don’t want nobody trying to run up on me with no cameras, trying to sell pictures and shit to magazines, asking me no dumbass questions. throwing me off of my focus and shit. Harassing you all motherfucking day. I ain’t no motherfucking celebrity…”
After a brief pause, he went on to say this in yet another clip:
“[I had a friend ask me, ‘Are you gonna go on] SNL and you’re going to do like a skit about the paparazzi and shit and like humanize yourself?’ I ain’t here to apologize to no motherfuckers man. It ain’t about me humanizing myself. At what point did I become unhuman where I had to turn myself back? Or maybe i was demonized. Or maybe I was treated inhumane and not human in that kind of situation.

Kanye West performed tonight at the Roseland Ballroom for the Adult Swim Upfront Party, and he debuted a new song called ‘Awesome’. Maybe this is one of the songs that he will perform this Saturday on SNL….below, he perfoms another song called ‘Yeezy Season’.

According to TMZ, Kanye’s Lamborghini Aventador was being delivered to Kim’s L.A. house after getting serviced. The driver pulled into the gate but didn’t make it all the way in before the gate closed on both sides of the car….which is worth $750,000.
Kanye is currently in NYC preparing for his Saturday Night Live show on Saturday.
The release date for Kanye West’s sixth studio album was said to be confirmed by a Def Jam representative when the tweet hit the net but was later denied. In related news, HMV Japan has Mr. West listed to release a LP on June 19th. Coincidence? If you remember correctly, HMV Japan was the same retailer to release the Cruel Summer track list.

Apparently, Kanye filmed a scene for Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues today in Atlanta. More below from Complex:
West was apparently filming in Atlanta alongside Christina Applegate and Paul Rudd while on a rooftop. Their “source” says he was “quite afraid of heights and required an umbrella for shade most of the time he was on the roof.”
Hudson Mohawke previewed 2 new records from Kanye West in Poland. The audio isn’t the best but it gives us an idea of what we can expect. Additional clip below.
