Once again, Kendrick Lamar obliterates everyone on a track (even one of my all time favorites in Ras Kass, who hasn’t really wowed me with his lyrical ability since the ill-fated Van Gogh/Goldyn Chyld projects) over a fairly mundane production. From his Barmageddon mixtape.
‘B**ch, Don’t Kill My Vibe’ from Kendrick Lamar’s debut album good kid, m.A.A.d City was originally suppose to feature Lady Gaga but her version failed to make the final cut due to creative differences with the management.
But today, Gaga release the original / demo version of the song featuring her vocals on the chorus. The audio is accompanied by some footage shot in Rio and backstage at a show in Colombia. I must say I agree with Kdot’s management, the original version sounds better. (Wonder What Jon Think?)
