SPOTLIGHT: Lil Wayne’s SUPRA Spectre Chimera
Back in December, Lil Wayne teamed with Stevie Williams for the collaboration shoe titled the S1W Supra. The shoe represents the friendship between Lil Wayne and Stevie, but also a mixture of skateboarding and Hip-Hop. The first model to be released from the upcoming lifestyle assortment will be the revolutionary new high top Chimera. The Chimera is available now, in three colorways for the Summer.
The first colorway has Black Satin TUF and black block-stitch TUF upper with black and grey-speckled neoprene TUF clamshell, black diamond mesh tongue, black rope laces, padded black and red mesh lining, black SUPRAFOAM midsole with grey speckle, and a black outsole with red traction.
The second colorway has White tumbled leather and black mesh upper with white leather clamshell, black mesh and white leather tongue, black/red rope laces, padded black and red mesh lining, red SUPRAFOAM midsole, and white outsole with black traction.
The third and final colorway has a grey tumbled full-grain leather and textured charcoal suede upper with grey leather clamshell, black mesh, turquoise accents, black diamond-mesh tongue, black/pink rope laces, padded black and pink mesh lining, pink SUPRAFOAM midsole with turquoise speckle, and grey outsole with turquoise traction.
I received the White/Red colorway from Supra two weeks ago, which I love; for starters, they’re extremely comfortable. These sneakers are so different then the S1W’s; I feel those sneakers were more of a casual sneaker and these are more of a skater shoe.
When Lil Wayne signed the deal with Supra, he wanted to make a sneaker for the die hard skaters and the people who are non skaters. I believe he succeeded in doing that.

Singer TQ Reveals Lil Wayne & Birdman Kissed Constantly

TQ says while Lil Wayne and Birdman did kiss regularly, they were unconcerned with any negative stigma.
Former Cash Money Records singer TQ recently spoke on the controversial years-old photo of Birdman and Lil Wayne kissing.
“I never understood it,” admitted TQ in an interview with KFYB of UGS Radio. “I asked for an explanation and they gave me an explanation and as a man as part of my clique had to respect the explanation.”
“People don’t understand them dudes did that shit every day,” continued the singer, who was signed to Cash Money from 2002-2004. “They consider themselves Father and Son.”
TQ said he warned Birdman and Weezy of the stigma associated with the two kissing, but they weren’t concerned. “We constantly use to get into that and I told them when we in public and cameras were under they are not gonna understand that shit and them niggaz didn’t care. It was constantly happening every day!”
The singer said that the two were undeterred, but remained adamant that the rappers were not homosexual. “We had mad conversations about that. That was a constant struggle and they never gave a fuck about my opinion about it. I have never seen homosexual tendencies from them cats! I think it’s weird, but I don’t think there was no homosexual shit involved!”

As promised, T.I.’s drops off his brand new single with Lil Wayne, “Wit Me”. The Lil C-produced track will be kicking off their “America’s Most Wanted’ nationwide tour this summer, which launches July 9th 2013 and runs until September 1st 2013.
In other news, T.I. is officially independent, and this single is being released via his digital Hustle Gang imprint and distributed by EMPIRE Distribution.

Al Sharpton & The Family Of Emmett Till Meet With PepsiCo Over Rappers
You know, you can call me insensitive…..but these Black folks are really wasting their time while also giving Al Sharpton that fame he needs to stay relevant.
For whatever reason — because causing these offending rappers to get dropped from their endorsement deals isn’t enough apparently — Emmett Till’s family met with Pepsi, Sharpton in tow, to discuss ways to prevent another issue like Lil’ Wayne’s rap lyric controversy (which had absolutely nothing to do with Pepsi). Also brought up was Tyler, The Creator’s recent goat commercial.
It’s only right for nigger-chasing Al to release a statement on the matter:
“The meeting today with PepsiCo representatives, the family of Emmett Till, and me at corporate headquarters was a positive meeting. PepsiCo apologized to the family again and they accepted while agreeing with me that this is a “teachable moment” and we must work with younger hip-hop artists so they know their civil rights history and become more engaged in the community. National Action Network (NAN) doesn’t want the end result to be the penalization of artists-although they clearly need to be corrected–but rather them becoming more engaged and conscientious of civil rights history. We agreed to work as partners to try and sit down with younger hip-hop artists, corporate executives, and people in the civil rights community.”

Trick Daddy Still Seething From Lil’ Wayne ‘Altercation’

Trick Daddy tells TMZ he’s open to a proposed sit-down with Lil Wayne to settle their feud … but what he’s actually doing is throwing gasoline on the fire.
In case you’re not up to speed … Lil Wayne went ballistic after a member of Trick’s posse allegedly flicked a cigarette in Wayne’s dreads at a Miami strip club.
Mr. Daddy isn’t copping to the incendiary move. Now here’s where it gets bad. Rather than trying to make things nice, Daddy’s logic is … “If I [wanted to start s**t with Lil Wayne] he would have been in the hospital for a different reason than a seizure.”
Trick is bitter … claiming Wayne’s gotten him blackballed from all the good strip clubs in Miami … and hey, now all that’s left are the butterface joints.
Finally … enter Birdman … who has the good sense to try and defuse the situation between the 2 feuding rappers by scheduling a sit-down happy meal.
Birdman … He’s like Dennis Rodman, without the North Koreans.
